uh huh, exactely, i would just like to know how the original poster came to the titles choice. and i think it is best if we keep of gun-ownership debate, because i think many of us would disagree, especially as many from the UK have different cultural values to that of America, so i do not feel i have the right to tell an American what rights they have, although i am more than willing to discuss gun-ownership in the UK

cool, well i totally respect your opinion, although i would disagree, however i believe life is totally personal, so i won't get offended by your view or others, because my view may not be best, they are just my opinion that they are at present.

it is quite interesting, because i am totally against the nanny state, however i do love the fact the UK is strict on its guns law, as i believe in different countries, situations are different and so are cultured. because gun ownership may work in certain countries, but not in others, an example being sub-sahara africa, where guns may do more damage, but lets not start that here eh?

 

Dont know why everyone is wasting their time arguing with this guy. He's clearly an idiot! Not British (proberbly an American, the once the largest slave owning country on earth and todays only 'colonial power'), and sounds like some red knecked gun freak.

Its the police and security services who stop terrorists in the UK, not Joe Bloggs on the street with a 357 magnum! And only the police and armed forces (ie proffesional and accountable) who should be armed. Who in their right mind whats a bunch of cowboy citizens running around with guns defending the "homeland" for christ sake. Oh yes, Americans!

 

Thats fine and your opinion. But you dont need a gun to defend your home, I can do that fine without any weapons, believe me. Any guy who comes into my house is in serious shit, and no guns needed!!! I just dont like people with guns. I new a gun nut once and he seriously scared the shit out of me. He was really keen to shoot someone. Frightning!!!!
