Does anyone else dig the band LOVE? What a band! I own their first three albums (Love, Da Capo and Forever Changes). They're an almost forgotten band and yet they made some truly wonderful music. Forever Changes is an essential purchase not just for hippies but for everyone. I'd probably rate that album higher than Pet Sounds or Revolver. I saw Arthur Lee (the band leader) last year in concert with some young musicians, they rocked!

    The everlasting: 'Love' .
Fine 1960s west coast band.I saw Arthur Lee & another metamorphasized 'Love' at The Queen Elizabeth Hall in June 2002.
Best gig I've ever seen all time because Arthur Lee performed the classic 'Love' repertoire to almost the exact arrangements as,the first time around.
'Love' were an obsure underground band in the 1960s & in 1967;their most prolific year;nobody outside Los Angeles/San Francisco could even get to see them perform live.
