This is my boyfriend checking out a fern at the Cleveland Botanical Garden. His dreads are four and a half years old. They are amazing...He started them naturally when his hair was super short and his dreadies are growing really fast now!

 

Why thank you, I'm ever so flattered I'm getting started with wax now so they're already taking much better form! Do send us some pics of your dreads mama, I'd love to see 'em!

 

No wax!!! Ah, no! Its terrible, avoid it at all costs! I put some on the first week I had them and now a year later iI have on dread that is totally ruined and greasy from it. I have others that just didnt develop properly.

 

Don't worry, I'm not actually waxing the dreads themselves. Just use it for my hands, as sort of lubricate. So it's just a tiny amount that ends up in the hair. The person who made the dreads (and does them for a living) warmly recommemded this.

Haha, I know...I've been on this site for over 3 years now and I still haven't posted any pictures of me. Maybe I'm paranoid...haha. I don't think I'd even know how to post 'em if I wanted to. Btw, inbloom, your dreads are sexy (as are you)
