bretheren means brothers. usually used in a churchy way. I think Ed had it coming: we learn how dumb some words are when people say something about it. I worked with a woman who used "colored" in 1989. as in "I was talking to a colored woman..." Our black coworker asked: "what color was she?" lesson learned. wigger, ****** and all variations realy should go the way of the dodo.
I occasionally say the word when quoting things or just as a joke towards an incredibly white friend. I use the words chink and ricepicker loosely too. They're just words, people, as long as you're not trying to hurt anybody with them. Like that, stuff like that's hilarious to me. God I love racism.
Where I come from coloured refers to mixed race....and is insulting Anyway people say i'm racist because I beat up blacks and wear a pillow on my head, but wtf man i'm just expressing myself
the KKK ed, the KKK actually if we're being more culturally specific the AWB or BNP isn't organised hatred fab?
the BNP are liberal as compared the the BPP (brittish peoples party). they splintered off from the BNP cuz they werent radical enough, and were 'ditching the cause'
This is some kind of joke right... i mean it's hilarious... when the women says that it has strong insults and then the guy says sit down ****** and when the teacher waves thos papers which have ****** on it.... i almost died becouse laughing tooo much man dead chair droped man ugh sorry if i ofended someone but this is funny
well, i am a black woman and i have quite a few white friends who use 'nigga' in every other sentence, but nobody really trips over it because we all know they're cool and don't mean it in a bad way. to me it just depends on how it's used, tone of voice, or even pronunciation. if some country yahoo comes running in my face yelling "you stupid fucking ******!" then i think that would be racist. but if someone (black, white, mexican, asian, etc.) came up to me, with no harmful or hateful intention and said something like "What it is, my nigga?" or "What it be like, nigga?" then i wouldn't consider it racist, but that's just me personally. i've heard the word all my life but never in a derogatory manner. when i was a baby, i was always called a "cute lil' nigga". but for the original poster, i don't think that was racist at all, you were playing around.
That was stupid and pretty hypocritical of him but I don't use the word just cause it's true meaning is sooooo mean. From what I know it means to downgrade or blaken..... it's funny when black people yell at any other race for using the downgrading word they give to their best friends though...... If that makes me racist for thinking like that then too bad, cause it's true.
i'm sorry, but i get really upset when i hear the word ******. it's never going to be affectionate or even neutral, it will always have a history. and it will always mean "black person". i don't see why you would want to call a white person a black person or point out that a black person is black... it doesn't add anything to the conversation, it isn't funny or cute, and you never know who's going to be hurt by it. there's absolutely nothing positive about the word, and so much negative. it's like screaming "FUCK YOU" just to exercise free speech. why not scream "I LOVE YOU"? people know what they are, we don't need to tell them.
