Once upon a time I took a walk in San Francisco and saw the Truth lying on the street in shaggy clothes, covered with old blanket.
    - Why are you lying here? - I asked, - could not you find a better place?
    - What are you talking about, man? - the Truth answered. - I am not popular now;
Tried to find a job in the retail, but they would not take me in, telling that I am too honest for that job. You understand, I always tell the truth in the face, cannot make up is not there and lie to the people saying that what I sell is the best, that our Coca-Cola is the sweetest, that you need to buy only our stuff and nobody's else's.
So, my manager told me: "It's very good that you are so honest and incorruptible, but as you understand, we cannot keep the workers like you, who brings no income to the company."
So I tried to knock to the people's houses, but they say: "Who needs you, we already have two children in the house, and we know that whoever takes you, the Truth, to the heart, is truly bound to end up in the streets. Try looking for a place somewhere else, please."
This is why I am lying here.

I felt sorry for the Truth, but continued walking. I was surprised then I saw a Genius standing in the sidewalk playing violin.
    - Look, you are a Genius, why are you playing here? - I asked.
    - So what? - says Genius, - it's such a time now that Genius is not popular. To become popular, you need to have a connections in high circles, which I don't have, and this is why I am playing here in the cold weather.
I also tried to find a job, but they told me: "What good is of your music?
You cannot with your music feed the hungry and bring the ecomomy up. It does not improve the production either, because when people listen to your music, they start thinking about the meaning of the life, instead of working harder. No, thank you, try looking for job at some other place."
So this is why I am playing my violin here.
I felt sorry for him, but continued walking. Suddenly I saw the Faithfulness sitting and asking for a spare change.
    - What the hell are you, Faithfullness, doing here? - I asked. - Does nobody take you?
    - That's really nice that you recognized me. - she says. - Most people have absolutely forgotten how I look like. They are faithful only to the dollar now.
Talking about faithfullness to friends, to the church, to a workplace,- it's totally forgotten.
Why, some people still give me occasional jobs, not for a long time, though, a couple of weeks is the most.
    - What happens then?
    - Then they usually find, that, except for my faithfullness, there is nothing I can offer. And if they are looking for someone more effective, profitable, useful, I become outsoursed.
There is nothing left for me, except to sit here and ask for alms.
And then I really felt sorry for our country and culture, where the Truth, Genius and Faithfullness are no longer respected.

I enjoyed your tale. I think I've heard a similar format before, but I liked your twist on it. Cheers, good luck
