I thought about joining and playing bass. I figure it'll be easy, i really won't have to march or dress up, and it'll look good for college. I might play next year.

    Hey,

It's a lot of fun being on a drumline, also a lot of work. If you do go out and make it and have anything you want help with if you check out my website in my signature, it is a message board I'm doing for marching.

    Hope I can help you,
    Cody

I marched snare throughout high school and then snare at the University of Delaware for 4 years. I am really sick of it now, and I do not like Drum Corps mentality,(and truthfully I would rather listen to the original versions of the songs they cover) I have seen too many people beat themselves up for missing a lick. Not my thing.

But I made the best friends there, and my hands got really sick, so it was one of the best things to ever come into my life.

Very sweet finalling hearing from another drumliner. I understand about the mentality thing, I'm only in high school but I do have a few drum corps friends.

Some of my best friends have also came from our drumline.

Man...that is a sweet set you got there.
