somtimes when im hanging out with my freinds who dont smoke and im high around them, they will often use sarcasm around me like " your a compleat douche bag" normally i just laugh but lately when they say that i feal like crackin a pipe over there heads.....so do have a hard time distinguashing sarcasm when your high??
no, but this weekend I was high around a lot of people that I had met earlier that day and I felt like they didnt like me and when I was high around them I felt like they were all thining about how stupid I was and then I didnt care anymore
no problem distinguishing it but some ppl use sarcasm like ALL THE FUCKING TIME thats when i want to crack their heads open
If they use sarcasm all the time, and you don't like hanging out with sarcastic people, the solution seems obvious. Hang with people you enjoy being with. Or if its just an occasional annoyance, like 40ozandChronic said, be sarcastic back.
calling someone a complete douchebag isn't sarcasm, its just someone insulting you. I'd suggest instead of laughing get some backbone, tell em to say it again and you'll rip there fuckin tongue out. and if there so anti-high they won't know what ur capable of and will coward away like the douche's they actually are.
I also find sarcasm to be quite a buzzkill. I usually like to be open and express myself while I'm high, and sarcasm can be really hurtful when I'm in that state. That's why I usually only get high with people who won't be uncool like that.
i dont get it really if theyre saying 'youre a complete douchebag' seriously then there is no sarcasm. but if theyre actually saying it sarcastic.. well .. i cant imagine how it would sound but more to the point whats wrong with it if its aknowlegedly playful and not meant? i dont understand if people are sarcastic much either when im stoned but its pretty obvious if theyre a friend and for no reason callin you a douchebag
