I have heard that spirit guides can come in the shapes of humans, animals, angels, and mythical creatures. Is this true? If so, how can the spirit guide be something that was never real? Please help me understand!
Its real in the way that it symbolizes something spiritual or real. And representation is real. Not to mention, if spirit guides could come int he form of something not 'real', wouldn't that in essence, make it 'real'?
spririt guides can come in all shapes and sizes, humans, animals, and angels. anything really. even the mythological animals. they are all around us. since we believe that mythological animals exist only in our imagination we believe that they are not real. but our imagination is the most powerful thing we humans have, without it, how could we create all the things taht we have? and anyways who says it is not real anyways? is there any proof that it is not real? but it is as real as your hands, or your toes. all living things exist on many different levels of the universe. there are many many energy feilds that occur. the things that we can touch and see and feel are only a small part of the large dimention that exists all around us. it is only a PART of whats real. open your mind to thoughts that maybe there's more available than we were told to believe. If you believe in them. they will come to you. close your eyes and think of them. they are here to show us perspectives outside of our physical reality so that we can see the larger plane feild that we live in. the bigger picture. they are as alive as we are. life is full of miracles. at least that is what i think.
Can any one person have two spirit guides. Its strange sometimes i see it as a phenix and then other times i see it as a bull.
It is possible to have more than 1 or 2 spirit guides. It is all in how many are there...Sometimes -I believe it is possible to have as many as are drawn to u...It may even be possible to draw some close to u-that u desire. I had a friend that said that she used to or still does have the Egyptian Sun God-Ra as her Spirit Guide. They were very close. So anything is possible -u can't rule anything or anyone out as a Guide 4 U.
wait...sorry to butt in here but how do people see a spirit guide? and how would you be close to one like your saying...i wanna see my spirit guide, if i have one...
i think my spirit guide/s takes the form of a crow.. are crows a good sign or a bad sign cos i always get crows comming up really close to me and no one else..
Ok- As far as how do u know what/who is your spirit guide and how u communicate with them... Communicating with your spirit guide can come many ways. If u are in meditative thought,relaxing and let the answer come to u -(in it's own due time) it will.I am unsure how or when the answer to the questions u have will come. They could come instantly or also unravel,little by little. If u go deep within your self u can find the answer to the mysteries that echo in your life...such as wonderinfg if a crow is a spirit guide or not-it could be a familiar,sacred animal,etc...to u- However, no one can decide this answer for u...Your spirit will let u know.
ram dass says a guru(which i assume is very similar to a spirit guide)will come to you when you are ready, in any form depending on where you are when you are ready to see such things revealed, this could be a blade of grass for all you know...
The easiest and perhaps most certain and vivid way to see you spirit guide is though lucid dreaming. www.ld4all.com If you are allready familiar with lucid dreaming (the art of becoming aware you are dreaming) within your dream just call for your spirit guide say for example "Show me my spirit guide" i have never done this myself i always forget to in the lucid state but many people have done it.
I will share what has been true for me: Spirit Guides and Angels were with you from the time of your birth (and maybe before birth). There is usually more than one, and they are 'real' and most likely to be seen as human or humanish. You may also have animal spirits as helpers and these are sometimes called power animals. You may also have visions of mythical beings, such as Pegasus or see a Pheonix etc. These are usually some form of spiritual symbol or communication. To see and speak to your guides is not that hard. It starts with acknowledgement - you say "Hi Guides! I don't know who you are yet or what you are doing but thanks for being here and helping me". Then just know that they are with you. They do not ever invade your privacy or force anything upon you (so you know if you ever pick up something like that it is bogus and needs to be sent away asap!). Then you need acceptance - when you are peaceful, ask for a message or some form of guidance. It may come as a thought, a song, a flash of a vision, or a memory of something. Maybe you will see something jump out at you from a book or something like that. It starts out subtly at first. They are very careful with you at first, because they want you to feel safe and comfortable and not be frightened of them. If you think you will be frightened if you see them, tell them to make themselves known some other way. Think of them with love, because they are pure love and they are unconditional. They are not here to judge you. They are very compassionate and loving and totally understanding of what you are going through. Ask them to comfort you if you are sad, or ask them to guide you if you need an answer. They can only help if you ask them to. They will not interfere in your life or take away your free will. i am also a little confused about that i mean i have a connection with the wind where it helped me save a life once. but i am also connected to birds and the moon but i have a stronger connection with the moon than the wind i am happy becuase it helps me see what is going to happen i love it!!
I have a cool story about when I saw what may have been my spirit guide. One night about 2 years ago, I would have been 16 and in 10th grade, I was having a dream. I don't remember exactly what is was about but I don't think that is important. In the middle of the dream, I picked my head up in real life and slammed it into my reading light which is attached to my headboard. At this time I was laying on my side looking at the side of my dresser. My head felt like it was vibrating in tune with the metal of the light. During all this confusion I saw what I intuitively knew to be a panther curled up on the ground where my dresser should have been, he was looking back at me with his head off the ground. "What the fuck?", I gasped as I reached out for it. My hand cracked on the side of the dresser and the vision shattered. This would have freaked me out enough, but for about 30 seconds whenever I blinked I saw a panther about 5 inches from my face with its mouth wide open and teeth bared. All of this occured in startling detail. Needless to say, I had a very difficult time going to sleep. I have never seen this spectral panther before or since. The previous was 100 percent true. Could that have been my spirit guide?
I understand what you are saying...i have a connection with the wind too...if i am praying outside or doing some kind of special ceremony, it whips up out of a still day and blows strongly from behind me....then it dies down again afterwards...like it's saying "I am here and I am helping". The Moon is a beautiful Goddess and she loves us to acknowledge her also. These are not your Spirit Guides....they are part of the Oneness we all have with Nature, Our Mother. It is one of the most beautiful things, to feel connected with everything.
I had a similar experience once, but it was a crocodile I saw, walking through my bedroom (it did freak me out at the time). I found out later it was a protector, a guardian spirit, and you might find that yours is a panther. Not bad to have some muscle there in spirit as you never know when you may need to call on it for help. Your Guides are likely to show themeselves as more human or angelic forms. I think it was growling at your face because you had a negative energy interfering with you astrally at the time (the one who banged your head against the light)...it was warning him off of you.
