What's up, guys; Long story short: I have a misdemeanor possesion ticket less than an ounce. But on the ticket, the park ranger (busted at a nature center for God's sake) the ranger wrote the date as March 20, 2003, when it was 2006. Does anybody know if I can somehow render the ticket invalid, since I was probably back in high school in 2003? That would be awesome. Thanks.
ah ya could try,,, had me a ticket once with wrong year on it n hadda pay anyway.... cheaper easier n much less a hassle to just pay the fine and be done with it,,, unless of course you have nothing better to do than fight it...
i know as far as warrants for arrest go,, any mistake makes it null an void. they then have to go back to the judge an have one reissued.. that im positive of.. as far as a ticket?? seems logical that it would be the same..
and even if it doesn't work, your little $100 ticket is nothing compared to what people in the central states have to go through.. you are in i believe the 2nd most leniest mj law state (the 1st being colorodo)
I've heard of people getting out of other kinds of tickets for little screw-ups like that. It will probably work.
sweet, well court date is june 14th so ill let you guys know i know you really care and all... (lol sarcasm)
hahaha no sorry bud but marijuana is in class c (same class as heroin) in california we only tolerate medical marijauna
hahaha no sorry your wrong. http://www.norml.org/index.cfm?wtm_view=&Group_ID=4525 it's decriminalized man. you get a ticket for it. you don't get tickets for heroin. Only about 13 states have decriminalized, most other states you take a ride to the police station if you get caught. It's definately one of the 13 most lenient states if not the 2nd or whatever he said. Decriminalization: The state has decriminalized marijuana to some degree. Typically, decriminalization means no prison time or criminal record for first-time possession of a small amount for personal consumption. The conduct is treated like a minor traffic violation. Pretty lenient...
I think Alaska is the most lenient allowing you to legally possess up to four ounces of the sweet herb.
in Colorado, up to an ounce is a PETTY OFFENSE with NO JAIL TIME and a HUNDRED DOLLAR FINE? I know where I"m moving. any possession in my state (CT) is a year incarceration/1,000 fine. Like, for a G you can get that. Unfair much?
