yeah, in texas the laws are really anal, especially up here in the über-conservative panhandle. I turn 18 in 37 days, and I went to a convenience store yesterday to buy some zig zags, but they asked to see my ID. They even do that for lighters, it's pretty retarted. They don't even let you go inside headshops up here unless you're 18, even if your mom or dad is with you. musicman, where in tx do you live? There aren't H.E.B's everywhere, I've only seen them around Austin and Houston, and a few of the towns around there...
zig zags are a brand of rolling papers. my personal favorite brand is Hempire, but, zig zags are much more widely available. juicy jays are the absolute worst brand, I think, their glue is just completely retched.... I live really close to lubbock, in redneck country....I've only been to san antonio once before...it was pretty cool, tons of tourists, though...
n00bs these days hehe just kidding, zig zags are the most common rolling paper, i think its not lingo
super thin, burn slow good for rolling. I find it odd how you have to be 18 to buy a pack of rolling papers.. its still just paper. but there not really enforced around my area, except sometimes they won't sell you lighters. Are you 16? yea buddy do I look like im fuckin 9. jeeze oh well, yea no lingo lol. there is quite a helpful thread somewhere bout slang terms.
How can you hate Juicy Jays? I love that brand. They have a very large variety of papers. But yeah if you absolutely cant get a piece just stick with the apple idea.
I like how Juicy Jays taste (some of them), but their glue just plain sucks. The joints always come undone halfway through. Their orange and vanilla flavored papers are worth the extra effort, though....
I've never made a pipe out of a fruit....I'll have to try that sometime.....in fact, now that I think about it, there's an apple I remember seeing in my fridge.......
oh yea, music man, if by the time you are 18, and you still live in san antonio, visit any Planet K store, they've got 4 of em there. They had 4 in austin, too, and they are the best headshops on earth, real cheap for good stuff...
Smartest post in this thread There's plenty of tools and other materials you can make pipes out of, why don't you make yourself a GB? all you need is a socket and a two liter bottle. Fuck all the other shit, it's nasty and horrible for you.
If in need have a buddy that is 18 pick up a pack of papers at your local mini-mart or any other convenience store..............living in South Dakota the laws aren't too strict on buying papers or lighters...........i usually pick myself up a pack of J.O.B 1.5 they do the trick to the max!!!!!! But you should really do yourself a favor and pick up a piece online or at a headshop, or just find a buddy that is 18+ and have him/her pick you up a pack of rolling papers either way you'll notice a dramatic effect in taste and harshness when you use a glass piece or some ACTUAL rolling papers....
holy shit Your a SA mofo like me. cool. i've never had trouble buyi\ng papers or pipes but i'm 17, 6'5'', 350 lb, and have a voice deeper than my fathers so nobody ids me.
Hey man, if you got a 7 Eleven near you they usually sell Zig Zags or the like. Also search the wonderful thing known as the internet! Bob Marley's sites merchandise section sells some papers, including some massive king sized ones. You can buy cases and different amounts I believe just google it man.
Heh. I'm gonna be in SD like next week. I'm flying out to Montana later this week. Going camping in the Black Hills, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Monument, all that jazz. Figure you gotta see it at least once, ya know? Might even swing into Sturgis, I think the rally is soon. I wish I still had my bike.
duuude the nozzle to your syrup bottle that freaking genius man. and the whole pringles can didnt work out for me, it all just got really soggy after like a day
Nice I live like 30-45 minutes away from Mount Rushmore. And yes the Rally officially start August 7th but there are already a bunch of tourists and bikes here. I believe there are even quite a few booths already set up in Sturgis. It's pretty fun. Watch out for cops if goin to Sturgis. During the rally you literally see atleast 2 every minute........But yea its hella fun. - 42o -
ok, toilet paper roll, apple, plastic bottle. hmm...what else have I used? oh yea, go to any art store and get that semi-transparent transfer paper (ask a worker, they'll know what youre talking about). Costs about the same as notebook paper but works a hell of a lot better
