    No I mean schools in general, you can have an christian school that doesen't brainwash very much, and a public school that tries to brainwash you completly, and vice versa.

    But what do you mean by brainwashing, the enforced rules? the uniforms? what the teacher says? the subjects that we have to write about? the fear about the future that they try to build up in you? the posters?

    We had a school near me get caught cheating on asessment tests to increase their funding recently.

    Which ones exactly? To some extent yeah, I heard from a friend that a baptist church is expelling students, giving demerits, because of their pictures on myspace (drunk, high, etc).

    well im pretty sure some schools out there do.especially ones that are ranked really high.im pretty sure they'd do anything to keep that going.there's this really annoying catholic private school in the town near my school.something wrong with them kids:rolleyes:

    my school for one isn't.i think the kids over power the teachers:rolleyes: :D

    They don't, by definition, brainwash. What they do could be construed as conditioning, in a loose sense.

    We don't need no education is a double negative, which would mean that we do in fact need education.

    But I don't think that was Waters' point behind the song.

    Brainwashing? More than likely. I don't think its working on me, though, so whatever. Let the sheep do as they please.

    Brainwashing requires such things as agitated states, lack of sleep, etc. School does none of these.
