Gathering of the Vibes

Anyone from the boston area going to the vibes? I'm just wondering if there's anyone from the area who wants to share the vibes with us at the show.

 

I know of someone from Beverly that will be there!

We will be there too...come find us in Vernville!!!

i went to gathering.... realllllllllly goood times with some great people. i had a blast, hope you guys did too. peace and love

i went to vibes. it was an amazing experince...great music, chill ppl....had a great time

 

Vibes was an amazing time!!!! Thank you to all the people that stopped by the black light tent and added your masterpieces!!! We had so much fun!! Can't wait til next year!

 

What the hell did I miss and when is it happening again? Next year?! I'll be on the common in September, at least I plan to be.

 

We were talking about Gathering of the vibes, a festival held in tribute to jerry and the dead that happens every year in New York. It just happened last weekend.

 

My buddy went. He said it was unreal. I think Bobby Weir played with Rat Dog on the first night. I'm bummed I missed it. I was gonna go, but my grandparents decided to visit that weekend.

 

Bobby Weir always plays in Ratdog, it's his band. The set was kind of weak at first, but totally began to kick ass.

 

haha... i was gonna say the same thing... but yeah, really really good times. still smiling weeks after. it was good to catch some dead tunes this summer.

 

where else is this festival going to be this year?

 

It's not a travelling festival, sorry. It's once a year in New York.

 

they have a website if you interested. www.gatheringofthevibes.com for anyone who is interested in attending in 2006! great if you live in NY or can travel to NY. maybe i will see someone there.........hopefully i get to go this year. but if you are around then u should definatley think of staying a week or so more because in the town of Mariahville, NY where they hold GOTV they also hold Max Creek aka hippiefest just about a week later. Good stuff there. I have gone for the past 5yrs. Peace

Terrapin hasn't confirmed it yet, but on Hot Tuna's website it says:
