it's been like 1 year i got this movie, never saw it, i downloaded it but it doesnt work on my DVD ( my dvd usualy read everything, i watch all downloaded movies (DivX) on it) must be nice to watch it on shrooms or acid
hard to say, ther's too many, but right now the first who come to my mind is a beutiful mind fear and loathing in las vegas fight club trainspotting the doors brother tooo many to name, i mostly like psychological movies, and comedies, and dramas, action movies are just entairtening, the only horror movie i like was 28 days later, if we can call it horror, when i was younger i loved horror movies today i hate them
is the "elephant" youre talking about the movie where theres a shooting at a high school, if yea that movie is just terrible.
mmm, forgot that one... Whats wrong with Elephant? The only thing that confused me was how many days it takes place in, cause a one point Alex is in the cafiteria writing his plan, but wasn't that the same day him and Eric shot up the place...yeah, that and the cloud shots confused me, but other than that, I liked it...
i haven't seen the doors movie..i'm afraid it'll be bad.... omg, i can't list all the movies that're my favorites aahhah. theres too many.
i think olivser stone represented jim that way in "the doors" because he wanted to show what's the image he gave to the world (the drunken LSD abuser), he maybe wanted to show this side that most of people remembered of him i agree that he's poetic and sober side have should be more shown but you have also to agree that the drinking abuse was real in his life
Yeah he did abuse alcohol, lets ask ray manzarek about the movie. (yes I know I sort of copid what he said :& ) Q - A few comments about the Oliver Stone movie. Oliver Stone would have us believe that Jim Morrison was drunk and stoned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You have to wonder when Morrison had the time to write, record, rehearse, travel, give interviews, and do photo shoots. And secondly, did you catch the end of the film? Oliver Stone writes, "Jim Morrison is said to have died of a heart attack at the age of 27 in Paris, on July 3,1971." This is Oliver Stone, one of the most admired film directors / writers around today. That's the best he could come up with? Why didn't he tell us for sure? I want to know if you agree with me?. A - Yeah, absolutely. What a jive-ass thing to do. He should be ashamed of himself. Too sensationalistic. Too jivey. Jim with a bottle all the time. It was ridiculous. It was like a movie about an alcoholic. If you want to see a movie about a drunk go see The Doors movie. If you want to see the real Jim Morrison and The Doors, you gotta see "The Soft Parade". That's what it's all about. That's what those home videos are all about. That's why I spent all the time making them. "Dance on Fire", "Live At the Hollywood Bowl", and "The Soft Parade", that's the real Doors. It's in your video store. Oliver Stone did a terrible job, but it sure was wild. It was a wild movie, and a lot of people liked the wildness of the movie, it's wild, but it's not psychedelic. It was not about Jim Morrison. It was about Jimbo Morrison, the drunk. God, where was the sensitive poet and the funny guy. The guy that I knew was not on that screen. That was not my friend. I don't know who that guy was. http://www.classicbands.com/RayManzarekInterview.html
