Ah I c, I think it's far more elite to grow in PVC jammed into the sediment filled with a good soilless mix, more like an agroponics setup if you can get the soil levels right without drowning the roots. Supposedly this type of setup can produce some monstrous trees, all dependant on the person doing it though obviously.
Drowning can be a major problem in a swamp. Dry land-downpour- bog! or worse, i've heard tales of islands that floated away!!!!!!!!!!!
Each place has its own peculularities when it comes to outdoor growing. to bad more self-proclaimed experts aren't aware of this
lol, you love fucking with people sometimes eh? But, you're 100% right (about everywhere having its own conditions), and the key to being a professional is being able to adapt to any situation with success.
Shoot, i was hoping for pictures of plants grown in a swamp by now. L.O.L. Im going to try growing a couple on a sandbar in a stream for kicks, this spring i suppose. I Got a spot already picked out. Might try using a bucket and some wick material. A bottomless bucket probably.
To post my future seems not wise... 2ceaserswild- you use the word "professional" like you know what it means... NO PRO would post pertieninet evidence in public... YAWNNN! this site--- it' getting BOOOOORING!!!!!
That's why you talk in ambiguities, not 'I did this' or 'I did that'. You basically set up your original post so you couldn't respond anyways without violating your rights. ;-)
hey man, back in the day i.ve grown in swamps! get a bunch of garbage bags, heavy duty ones! haul in a bunch of earth, fill the bags with earth, poke holes in bottom! stick the plant in it,close the bag tight around the stock! position your baged potplant on the edge of the swamp! it's alot of fuckin work though! you'd be better off planting on the edge of the forest, along the tree line.
