Almost all to me speak that harmfully there are no at all animal products. I can not understand why many people so are assured of it[IMG]. Can they so consider from for that that simply do not wish to trust that it is possible to live without these products? The some people speak that if there is no meat and a fish eggs or milk are necessarily necessary.

I do not know to whom to trust. While I do not eat anything from food of an animal origin.

Tell to me to whom to trust? In fact here there are people which already a lot of time use products of an animal origin?.? I have excluded from the diet dairy products and eggs more recently. Whether so it is necessary to attach significance to words of other people? Or it is not necessary to worry about that that everyone speak? And easy to live without these products.

Whether it is possible to be vegan at my age? Very much it would be desirable to learn yours opinion on it

Ostard, I had a spot of trouble with that but I think you said:
"Almost everyone tells me that I will be harmed if I don't have animal products."
So my answer is based on that conjecture.

As long as you get all the vitamins, minerals and amino acids (protein building blocks) you will be fine.
What is a typical day's diet for you now?

Nutrition is a subject we have little understanding of.

Even so, what was once 'wholesome' in our grandparents time is now not so cos food is processed differently now and in ways that affect nutrition.

IMHO, no one can claim to now what is healthy for everybody. I for one don't believe the vegetarian diet is for everybody, however I do believe that many folks are better off with a veggie diet than one heavy with meat and dairy.

All I can suggest is to try a variety of veggies, grains, etc and introduce/exclude foods ONE AT A TIME. Closely monitor not only your diet but also your reactions to the changes you make... after allowing time for any adjustments your system make need to make.

Only you can be your own best nutritional consultant by being in tune with yourself.

My diet does not contain anything from animals. One plants.

I simply do not understand why many people considerthat it very harmfully. Many even are dared and joke of that that who that not is that that they eat

    Thanks for answers

Well, why people think it's harmful is beyond me. Some people are just too afraid to believe outside of what they were brought up with.

Most people are brought up eating meat, and other animal products....and I think some people have some sort of emotional attachment to it, in a way. Kind of like, being brought up with a certain religion.... and so on. It scares people to think of "changing"

People pick on vegans, because we're different....They like to point out that it might be more difficult for us to obtain things like B12 and what not, which may be semi-true; however, I don't know many omnivores that eat a balanced diet, either...so it's really just rubbish.

In my opinion, going vegan, for me.... gave me more reason to be careful of what I do, and don't eat...and therefore, I DO get a better balanced diet. I also take a multi-vitamin to be sure....while, I never did before, because I didn't stop to think about my health, and how I was nourishing my body, before hand.

Yes, the translator. English I know not in perfection. So sometimes I use this[IMG]

Was afraid to write incorrectly, and the translator only has worse translated[IMG]

It's okay, I did not know you were using a translator.

I have used translators too, and they don't do the best job.

    Sorry. =)

you need to add any green veggies you can, the darker the better.
dark green leafy vegetables are the secret weapon in nutrition.

Yes the time that I felt the best was when I cut all processed foods and coffee from my diet and ate AT LEAST 2 salads of spinach or dark baby greens a day. I second that that and sprouts are the most important foods of all. Atkins diet make me sick just hearing about it, how can they think it's healthy or fun to omit this very important food item.
