I have a room that is 35in high and 35in wide. Right now i have two plants growing in there do you think that it will be big enough for me to grow a decent enough plant to get some nice buds off of ? Your info will be helpful STICKY 420
No. You need a taller space. To get a decent yield, you need to wait until the plant is sexually mature (usually in 4--6 weeks) at which time the plant may be 2' tall (or more). Then let's say at that point you 12/12 to flower and factor in that the plant will more than double in height during the first 3 weeks of flowering. Look up lst (low stress training) to limit vertical growth.
DUDE....your only hope is to use H/O compact flouros so you plant can get as tall as possible..you need to thank bigger ,you eventually will anyways we all do... _____________________________ OVERGROW THE GOVERMENT
You should wait until the plants are sexually mature, indicated by alternating nodes, which usually occurs at week 4--6. You can force flower before that but you won't get much.
c'mon dude, you cant grow shit in that space! if your growing from seeds,4 to 6 weeks max, then start flowering. from cuttings, you can flower as soon as u want.
I'm sure you guys have heard of SOG. With 3 vertical feet you wouldn't have room for all 3 stages, but you can still do a canopy with the right strain. Mind you, ya still need the sq-ft or else the plants will be competing with each other. I have 1 plant right now that is 6 weeks old and it's only 8 inches tall, however it's 1 foot wide. It's never been topped or trained. Another plant of a different strain, started at the same time, is 3ft tall already and it had been topped. Something else to think about: All the shoots on the the dwarf plant have breached the canopy (means all tops). Only 1 shoot on the tall plant will have a good top. (Actaully I've topped it, so there will be 2 good tops). By the time they are ready to harvest, I'd be willing to bet I get almost as much yield from the dwarf.
