15 minutes in oil pastel

i tried to do this drawing as fast as i could. it took 15 minutes. i'm pretty happy with it.

 

i am too. I think it looks beautiful.

Wow, that's great! It would take me 15 hours to do something like that....

thanks. it really wasn't that difficult. the hardest part was drawing it without looking at the vase. i sketched it in the bathroom and then sat down in the other room and colored it. i don't know why, but i like challenging myself. i think it helps me become better. and i think peace is right; you should all try something like that and post it. it's fun.

 

I can see why you're such a fan of oil pastel, you really do have a nice touch with them Verrry nice

i want to pick up some oils, they look beautiful...YOUR PICTURE IS BEAUTIFUL... i used chalk pastels for the first time the other day and i have to say its my favorite media yet, but i think i would like oils even better

 

Go for it!! Pastels are so much fun....chalk AND oil.....Though, I'm better with chalk than oil, so I like chalk a bit more, to work with.

But this guy really inspires me to improve with oil pastels....his stuff is wicked!
