I just got this today. I miss my old simple aim. this one is a pain in the ass as far as away messages go and the whole interface just sucks i think. agree/disagree?
never used it. went through and set all the customizations but still never used it. don't know how and have no desire to anyway. furst last and only time i've ever used any kind of "im" was a number of years ago. not being a real time person, don't get me wrong, i like people, but i just thought it was a totaly gratuitous p.i.t.a. to have always someone wanting to real time with you every time you log on to the net. sorry i'd rather do what i log on for FIRST! then, IF i feel like it, MAYBE yak at somebody. besides that's what muck clients are for. which i never got all that into either. pretending to be in virtual worlds is great, but even there it's not for the conversation i'm looking to go there for. second life would be great if it wasn't based on capitolism and didn't need broadband. hell it would be great if it wasn't based on capitolsim and i HAD broadband. but instan't messing, furgit it. i refuse to own a cell phone either. =^^= .../\...
I have it, I don't like it but don't use aim enough to care. I got rid of my yahoo and rarely use msn either. They all suck in their own ways.
wow, that was pretty useless too. i wish i had the last 3 minutes of my life back and did not read that whole post you made. i bet you have done every drug in the book and warped your mind b/c of it and are one of those old guys that starts a conversation and won't let a person leave until you've wasted a half hour of their time.
this is a sufficient response to this topic---though i might have liked to hear some reasoning behind your decision.
