You can and most likely. you will, too, unless he is wearing a condom, which would protect him against most, if not all STDs... So, yeah, condom is the name of the play...

Actually, there isn't sufficient evidence to say how likely the top is to get AIDS from the bottom. But it definitely has happened. It is also possible to contract other STDs, like herpes and warts.

It is a logical question. If the semen and other fluids carry HIV, and you shoot out the semen, how do you get the infection? Well, you probably wouldn't receive it through your piss slit. But that has been theorized as a possibility. Through a kind of "vacuum" effect that occurs during the spasms of ejaculation. But it's somewhat unlikely to happen.

However, sex can cause abrasions to the tender skin of the penis. Just jacking off can do that too. Though these abrasions may not hurt or be noticeable, it can be enough for an exchange of fluid. The natural fluids of the rectal area are not known to carry large amounts of HIV, however HIV may be present. And if the person is infected with other STDs, the amount of any kind of virus will vary depending on their condition. And in the reverse, the bottom may also experience abrasions during sex, while this may not hurt, tiny abrasions can release small amounts of blood, which can contain large amounts of HIV and other STDs.

And consider that other STDs are more easily transmitted to the top, like herpes or warts. Once the top has herpes or warts, these conditions cause abrasions which make it that much easier for him to contract HIV from the bottom.

While the risk of receiving AIDS if you are the top is much less than if you are the bottom, it is still possible. And I might add, this is how some people have definitely contracted AIDS.
