Does anyone else see the connection between Peter the Hermit, a pious poor man of Europe uniting Christians in a jihad-esque, plunge at the holy land, similir to Osama Bin Laden? Could this just be history repeating itself? From the other side of things now. Not saying Peter was a terrorist, but still they had the same motiffs of hiding in caves, poor dressed in rags, yet perfect examples of their religion.
Osama was rich, and used his wealth to rouse the rabble for his war...Peter the Hermit was poor but he was useful to the rich as a charismatic frontman for their war.
Actually Osama was banished and didn't get any of the wealth that his family possesses, this could be true, but who's to say he didn't need money? The fact that he had followers and money was no object. Either way I agree because both have their similarities.
Yea spook thats not true, he did have some wealth mostly donations and agreements with similiar minded wealthy radicals that funded his ideology. They are really really close man. lol by the way Ive always wanted to say YEA SPOOK
