Telling the truth is a very good habit. If you always speak the truth, you can save yourself from a lot of trouble! Here is a story of a man who did a lot of bad things, but his promise to tell the truth saved him.

Note: This Haddeth is attributed to the prophet (Muhammad) pbuh, I am not sure of its authenticity , However, the point here is the goal of the Story =)

Once a man came to the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and said, " I have many bad habits. Which one of them should I give up first?" The Prophet (pbuh)said, "Give up telling lies first and always speak the truth." The man promised to do so and went home.​

At night the man was about to go out to steal. Before setting out, he thought for a moment about the promise he made with the Prophet. "If tomorrow the Prophet asks me where have I been, what shall I say? Shall I say that I went out stealing? No, I cannot say that. But nor can I lie. If I tell the truth, everyone will start hating me and call me a thief. I would be punished for stealing."​

So the man decided not to steal that night, and gave up this bad habit.​

Next day, he felt like drinking wine, when he was about to do so, he said to himself, "What shall I say to the prophet if he asks me what did I do during the day? I cannot tell a lie, and if I speak the truth people will hate me, because a Muslim is not allowed to drink wine." And so he gave up the idea of drinking wine.​

In this way, whenever the man thought of doing something bad, he remembered his promise to tell the truth at all times. One by one, he gave up all his bad habits and became a good Muslim and a very good person.​

If you always speak the truth, you can be a good person, a good Muslim whom Allah likes and favors. If Allah - our Creator - is pleased with us, He will reward us with HEAVEN, which is a place of happiness and joy.​

Would you agree that its permissable for a Muslim to lie - only if - it succeeds in validating the Koran and Muhammed throughout the World?
If it protects Islam.. then its acceptable to lie?

However, I saw this Story in many websites, I saw the story in both Sunni and Shia websites as well, I also asked a Sunni Sheikh once about it to know whether it is an authentic or not, he told me that he heard about it but he doesn't know the source, this story also you can find it in many Sunni Books,actually the goal is the point here, and when I posted it , it was because the goal, but yeah I should write the Note, thanks for that my dear brother, and the goal is that if we stop lying we can stop doing all the bad things, However, I will edit the thread by writing a note regarding this matter till I will find the source =)​

Acually, lying about God or his religion is considered among the greatest of sins.

Who doth more wrong than he who inventeth a lie against Allah or rejecteth His signs? But verily the wrong-doers never shall prosper.(Q 6:21)

The prophet said: (peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) "Whosoever tells a lie against me intentionally then surely let him occupy his seat in Hell-Fire."
There is a hadeeth that says that some categories of people are not seen as liars;

The prophet (peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) said: "A liar is not one who tries to bring reconciliation amongst people and speaks good (in order to avert dispute), or he conveys good" so if two people are having a dispute and one tries to reconcile between them by "twisting words", he/she is not considered a liar. Another hadith mentions words that the husband says to his wife (or vice versa) in order to please her even though its not really true such as praising her cooking for instance even though you really are not that fond of it. This action is not considered lying.

 

I sincerely hope Allahs followers will pay attention to that passage of the Koran and not be interested in bearing a false (and softened) witness about what the Koran really says and what Muhammad has really done.
I am all for the whole truth and nothign but the truth of Islam being revealed honestly and openly to the rest of the world.
Then people will be fairly warned.

Quraan: Say (O Muhammad): "O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians): Come to an equitable proposition between us and you, that we worship none but Allâh, and that we associate no partners with Him, and that none of us shall take others as lords besides Allâh. Then, if they turn away, say: "Bear witness that we are Muslims."​

Why would I want to go backwards and downwards from a faith of reconciliation, freedom from the Law to live a new life in the Grace of God.... to a life of bondage and religion?
I would not!

Even if I did decide to throw away the gift of Grace and return to Legalism - at least I would go back to the Torah and the real Bible and not some plagiarised version written by a pedophile prophet whos word I should take just because he says so lol!

well, if I will behave like you and speak as you are doing then, believe it or not, I swear by Allah the Al-mighty that you are talking about the real Prophet of Allah, someday you will know that if not in this life in hearafter, There are prophecies regarding beloved prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in the Bible go and check them, however, it is totally up to you whether you want to believe or not.​

[Quraan 45.2-35]:​

The revelation of the Book (this Qur'ân) is from Allâh, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise...Woe to every sinful liar,Who hears the Verses of Allâh (being) recited to him, yet persists with pride as if he heard them not. So announce to him a painful torment! And when he learns something of Our Verses (this Qur'ân), he makes them a jest. For such there will be a humiliating torment.In front of them there is Hell, and that which they have earned will be of no profit to them, nor (will be of any profit to them) those whom they have taken as Auliyâ' (protectors, helpers, etc.) besides Allâh. And theirs will be a great torment.​

This (Qur'ân) is a guidance. And those who disbelieve in the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord, for them there is a painful torment of Rijz (a severe kind of punishment)... Say (O Muhammad) to the believers to forgive those who (harm themand) hope not for the Days of Allâh (i.e. His Recompense), that He may recompense people according to what they have earned (i.e. to punish these disbelievers, who harm the believers). Whosoever does a good deed, it is for his ownself, and whosoever does evil, it is against (his ownself). Then to your Lord you will be made to return…This (Qur'ân) is a clear insight and evidence for mankind, and a guidance and a mercy for people who have Faith with certainty. Or do those who earn evil deeds think that We shall hold them equal with those who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh Islâmic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, in their present life and after their death? Worst is the judgement that they make… And on the Day that the Hour will be established, on that Day the followers of falsehood (polytheists, disbelievers, worshippers of false deities, etc.) shall lose (everything)…This Day you shall be recompensed for what you used to do…Then, as for those who believed (in the Oneness of Allâh Islâmic Monotheism) and did righteous good deeds, their Lord will admit them to His Mercy. That will be the evident success. But as for those who disbelieved (it will be said to them): "Were not Our Verses recited to you? But you were proud, and you were a people who were Mujrimûn (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals etc)." ...And the evil of what they did will appear to them, and they will be completely encircled by that which they used to mock at! ​

And it will be said: "This Day We will forget you as you forgot the Meeting of this Day of yours. And your abode is the Fire, and there is none to help you." This, because you took the revelations of Allâh (this Qur'ân) in mockery, and the life of the world deceived you. So this Day, they shall not be taken out from there (Hell), nor shall they be Yustâ'tabûn i.e. they shall not return to the worldly life, so that they repent to Allâh, and ​

If there is any prophecy in the Bible predicting Muhammad then its a prophecy which predicts those who call themselves Jews but are not and are really in a Synagogue of Satan.
The 'Beast' who foreshadows the AntiChrist would be a candidate for Muhammad.
The one who causes and Abomination of Desolation maybe.
Your prophet was indeed a pedophile, a pirate and a serial killer who thought nothing of mutilating and torturing people to death.
This is not some 'insult' I am making up - this is the accounts of Muhammad and his followers themselves.

Did Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) ever call himself a Jew? Or was he ever a Jew for a moment? ​

How is that, while his teachings command to believe in jesus as a prophet and a messenger of Allah and who denies that then he isn't a Muslim, how could he be antiChrist ? Do you drink? It affects the brain negatively, ask the doctors. Are you 35 or 36 if so then you still young, if you are in this age with such brain what will happen after few years , so pay attention to this matter, please.​

jesus also said to beware of the people who dress, act and smell like him in the future for they will be evil... you know who fits all these catagories? hippys! jesus and hippys like to wear hemp clothes and sandals. neither like showers. and both promote peace and there is much evidence that jesus liked a bit of Herb every once in a while! once the church was officially established, they would put hallucinagenic mushrooms into the communion! so that means everyone on here is someone jesus told was evil. now that doesnt make much sense now does it?

 

Muslims lie for Allah as well as against Allah all the time. How? Because they cannot provide proofs for their claims about Allah. This is important to note because islam demands submission without any real proof of its divinity with many threanening statements of various kind.

Myself I think (according to my information) the only religion who gives proofs of Allah's existence, and that Muhammad (pbuh) is his messenger, and that Quraan is his word, is Islam, logical proofs, I don't know if there are other religions who have the same thing!
