So this is the way it goes me and my were going to buy a dime when i pulled up to the dealers house i saw a cop car in the distance talking to some girl then he left. when i bought the stuf i left and saw a cop car tailing me and another in some apartments facing me. when i finaly got to the main road he pulled me over and said i had a defective brake lamp(probly as an excuse to pull me over). then he said he saw me leaving the vadio (i think thats how u spell it). then he asked what i was doing there and i said i was visiting a friend then he asked if he could search my car. and i said i did not consent to any searches so he said he was going to get a drug dog down there and he did and busted my ass. when he asked where i got it from i told him i grew it. (das where i fuck up at) was that a bad thing i told him that? growing is pretty serious. but my bro said not to say that in court but i already told the cop. Could i change my story in court?

anyway and advice would help. thanks

Ok, so, here's what I have to say, first, yea, saying you grew it was a really bad thing to say, it might give the officer a good reason to request a search warrant. Secondly, when you go to court, this is now evidence against you, you've said it, its on the record, don't change your story now because you will be scarred for life in any upcoming court cases because they know you lie, and your testimony won't mean anything. But, this isn't the place to get advice, if you're definitely going to court, go get a lawyer right away, maybe he can help, but listening to a bunch of people here is a terrible idea.

It doesn't matter. Get anything out of your house that's illegal, because there is a chance they will get a search warrant, I kind of doubt they will though.
I highly doubt your going to testify or even have a courtcase for a dime of weed. 9 times outta 10, you plead out and get accelerated rehab, probation, community service, or whatever else. They aren't going to charge you for growing pot based solely on your statement. A jury would never convict you without any real evidence. If you take the stand if they did arrest you for growing, you would just say the truth, you bought the weed from someone and narcs get a bad name and possibly the shit beaten out of them. You said the first thing that came to mind. There's no reasonable doubt you grow. You don't have much to worry about, just get rid of the shit in your house for the time being just in case they search it (don't want any more paraphenalia or possession charges)

Yeah, that was a bad thing to say. Definitely get everything you can out of your house. And if a cop threatens to get a drug dog when you're in your car next time, EAT THE WEED. And never say you grow it. Anything you say will be used against you.

It's really hard to eat your weed in the presence of a cop. Given, it is possible, you don't want to be reaching around into your pockets and scare the cop. The cops in some parts of america are getting CRAZY with tazers because it's mostly non-lethal. I personally know three people who are sueing the police for wrongful use of a tazer (they received really bad injuries from it)
