I was happy to get back to the fabulous Fox Theatre for two nights of Moe. in Atlanta two weekends ago. If youve never been to the Fox try to get there sometime. This is an excelent venue. For Cheese I was down in the orchestra level and it was hard to see the band. This time I was up in the baclony and it was amazing. The ceiling of the fox is painted this wierd blue color so when the lights are turned off it looks like youre looiking up at a dawn or dusk sky. It also has little stars that twinkle. And above the stage there is an actual three dememsional marble mosque so the stage itslelf looks like an open mosque. It feels like youre outside. The Fox is the perfect setting to do psychedelics. Its wonderful! The first night was great. I found some mid grade beans out in the lot. The Moe lot was very impressive this time and it could quite easily rival the Cheese lot I encountered last october. Lots of good food, merchandise, and mind altering substances. There were several nitrous tanks out there which made me very happy. They did an acoustic St. Augustine which kicked ass. They opened the second set with a flawless timmy tucker. Mexico encore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The second night I was lucky to have found the dankest chocolates I have ever tasted. I was tripping balls well after the better of the two shows. Some great jamming this second night. I was very impressed. "Easy to Slip" first time ever played. "Down Boy" to close the first! Second set: Cant you hear me knockin!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the most brilliant Buster I have ever heard. I will say that the encore sucked. But the rest of their show made up for it. After the Atlanta weekend I can confidently say that I will definately be going to more Moe. shows from here on out. They are definately worth while. Great Great Jamming. some of the best I've ever heard. Great Lights too. excellent lights. And really great people. Great Moeshrooms! Goe see Moe.
Yea, moe. puts on an amazing show. I saw them this summer with allman brothers but id love to see them again by themselves.
Last time I saw moe., their lot scene freaked me out. It was CRAZY. But they do put on a damn good show!
My first moe. show i saw was magical, I see them every chance i get now. The Moe.Down is a really nice intimate festival and it usually has great acts and great weather. Labor Day weekend.
