It's a journey of two people who hitchhiked around the world over a five something year stent; 1998 and 2003 I think. I'm really pushing this I know, but if anyone wants to do this, or at least talk about it with me you know where to get me. No plans, just talk.

holy, i saw that site a couple years ago, nearly blew me head in..:) so beautiful!
    radical simplistic living..lets go!
my problem is, im a girl, so its much harder for me to be inspired by this route of traveling, i was thinking, to manouver around that problem, to take self defense classes, carry pepper spray, and bring a man along on treks outside my locale..
(i live in BC Canada so my experience has been that it is relatively safe hitching out here)
but yes, im doing this, the "vagabond way" at some point..hopefully soon..all i need is money and a travel partner!
on to the digihitch roaddog forums i go...

That takes balls. I have tried finding work as a traveler, and it is not always easy. And it sucks being in a foreign country with no money. I always made it out alright, and in the end nothing happened, and it makes for good stories, but damn, it's not fun.

Also, they spent nearly 3 days bouncing along on a dirt road in an old ass truck in the mountains of Peru trying to get to Macchu Picchu. Or how about standing for hours in the snow in Sakhalin waiting for a ride. Oh hell no, I'm sorry. I'm not that hard core, that takes guts, or just being plain crazy.

But I gotta give them props for doing it. That is so very cool.
