Im 15 and i already see no point to life , Life seems fake and artifical to me.. I dont know why but it does. I dont understand i always find that religion was made just to keep us in peace , I dont know if religion is real ... How come mirricles happend before but not now? How come i cant see anything with my own two eyes.

I was jewish or i still am , im confused i dont know if i belive in god... if there is a god or what! im just confussed and im looking for some guidence.
I feel as if the world is just a bunch of crap put together. I belive religion is fake and was made to made children and grownups act nice , and not go nuts and kill / steal / etc.

anyone else have the same views?

    Hare Krishna!

    Dear Pmeth,

Thanks for your very nice thread and the wonderful thoughts. I would love to believe that you have thus understood to some extent what religion is. When you get confused in almost everything and all the happenings of the world become meaningless then only we should understand that we have actually put a step forward. Because, then only the quest for the truth about religion and the quest for significance of living this life starts.

It is true when you think that everything is crap and rubbish and at the same time it is not. Everything in this world is in transition but there is something that is permanent and eternal. When we come to know about that permanency in transition then only we become peaceful and quiet and understand the significance of living this life.

Yes, Pmeth, undoubtedly I also had the same feeling like yours when I was as young as you. I only hope and pray that His grace comes upon you and the light for seeking and seeing the truth comes within you.

    With love and best wishes,

    Kumar.

    'Tis all good.

You don't have to know what you believe in at this point in time.

    I didn't really realize that I didn't believe in God until I was 16 or 17.

Just do some more research and looking into it.

And in time, this idea that "life is artificial and fake" will go away.

I don't believe in any deities whatsoever. I don't believe in a soul. I don't believe in an afterlife. I don't even believe much in humanity.

And yet, I have come to realize -- it is these factors which I believe do NOT exist, which make the world even more beautiful than it would be if they did exist.

I know that sounds strange, but through introspection and meditation on the subject, you too may find peace and beauty in such a world.

A sunset will always be beautiful,
No matter why or how it is there.

    Before enlightenment,
I chopped wood and carried water.
    After enlightenment,
I chopped wood and carried water.

The thing that confuses me , I was always interested in other religions. I dont really know why i was put on this earth...Sometimes i feel as we are just animals and our main purpose is to bread.. but if so thats a pretty shitty life , then there is no point of going to school etc.

Im just so confussed with my religion lately.. I sometimes find it just a bunch of crap , writen by some old man.

I was wondering , what made you re-gain all your faith?

I never really lost faith... I went from being somewhat Christian to what I am now... which is pagan.

That is just where I find truth... in nature.

I think that what your going through is something all intelligent and religous people go throught at aroudn your age....And I think that religon, if your going to have one, is something that you will always struggle with and be developing...
Religon isn't just saying yeah, everything they say is right, it is figuring out what they say, if you believe in it or not, whether is it right or not and on and on and on...

Don't worry, you are on a journey...when your 15 you have a lot more to expereience....I still have a lot more to expereience...When your 50 you still have a lot more to experience...

The only way to truly be without religion is to not beleive.

Personally, I don't think that there needs to be some divine purpose for each of us here in life for us to be able to enjoy it, for us to have purpose.

In fact, it means that life gets to be what we make it. What would you make it? Does spirituality and faith in the divine give you some purpose to life? It isn't necessarily a bad thing. If it doesn't, that isn't a bad thing either. You'll find your purpose, or it will find you.

Religion is bullshit, but beleive in a supreme being is not. A lost pharoah named Ahkenaten said that religion was the cause of all mans problems becasuse people beleived in different deities. If you can go with me here, and have an open mind you might learn something, also there is factual evidence to support what im saying here. These deities are ancient Sumerian gods, the Annunaki, who created us in order to better themselves. The creation of Adam and Eve in the Bible is actually true, but the bible and Christianty are long gone from their original roots. It was originally supposed to be Gnosticism, but the bishops who were greedy killed them all during the Spanish Inquisition. Well anyways, the Egyptian god Akhenaten said the worship of these deities was too confusing, and that they should worship the sun, thus becoming monotheistic. But the Sun was the allmighty, the one that created the universe, and the lesser gods..the Annunaki. The two gods who created us were Enki and Enlil. Enlil, whos name is translated into Osiris in Egyptian, Yahweh in Judaism, and Allah in Islam, is a vengeful god, and likes to see us suffer. His brother Enki, saved humanity because he had given us emotion and love, and saved us. This is where the story of Noah and the flood comes in, he is the one who told Noah. Noah then had 3 sons, Hem, Shem, and Japhite. Shem= whites, Hem = blacks, and Japh = Asians. From here religion This Akhenaten guy is Moses Father, and taught him the trades that he knew, which were alchemy and what not. But when the religion spread through tribes, Babylonians took over and mixed it with their greed, creating Judaism. Then Islam came about and the prophet Mohammad and is supposed to be the truest religion, but has now become very radical and our government has marked it as "Terrorist's religion" when it really isnt. If we are to beleive we were created for a reason (which supposedly was to mine for gold for the Annunaki in order to keep them alive) it explains why gold is such an important facet of our economy and life, and why King Solomon's temple was sacked by Templar Knights, who eventually became the founders of the Illuminati and later on Freemasons. Religion has become some major brainwashing scheme, and my major point is this.

When you hear someone praying, "Dear god please make me rich, famous, and live forever" Do you think he actually hears you?

Now as for miracles, these could be easily explained as guardian angels, then Jinn, in Islam, who are fiery demon like creature, both good and bad. Jinn = Genie, kinda funny how hollywood has a way of working real life into cartoons.

Now my original reason for telling you this is because i felt the need to help you. Don't get caught in adopting a religion, read them all, mix them all into a ball of your own understanding. We are never going to find the truth, it has either been buried by the sands of time or burned by religious nuts in the Christian or Catholic churches. All religions today are fake and have lost they're original true meaning. Life is meant to be enjoyed and understood, it was wondering which makes it more interesting. My advice to you, create your own religion, read as much ancient history as you can, understand the world before you try and understand religion, your young and have a lot to learn. Like they ancients used to say....

Do not worship in a temple, the temple is in your mind, and in your mind is where you will find god.

oh and for the pagan thing, there is nothing wrong with beleive in mother earth, after all, she was here before any of us were thought about. But she herself was created by the allmighty unfathomable, as well as the lesser gods who control our existence.

Ok, I can completely understand the not believing in God part, even though I do. But how can you not believe in humanity??? Without humanity, what is there?

i came to the realization that one day everything i see and believe could be just an illusion that someone or somethingthing could have created. the thought that everything could be different from what i originally thought or to find out thati was a dream freaked me out a little bit at first. After thinking about it for a little while, i realized it didnt really matter if things were like that or not because either way, im going to be the same person im going to be. you can easily not believe in something like life or humanity and live, it all just depends on how much that kind of thing can affect you. for me, it didnt because i dont need meaning in my life to guide me.

rocks, trees, little furry creatures and our own tangable artifacts are real. human coerciveness teaches us to have unreasonable expectations of everything else.
life doesn't owe us anything, but neither does the diversity that is reality prevent anything from being possible.
