He is backing up his claims with the same shit that Pressed Rat backs up his claims that jews were behind the holocaust - absolutely nothing. Communism is this because Marx said that. So what? Che guevara worked a 7 day week arranging firing squads for class enemies so he wasn't a parasite? This stuff is completely insane.

Jana's family lived in a country governed by a communist party which had as its goal the establishment of a communist state. She has the credentials to tell people like Communism, who praise some of history's biggest mass murderers, what communism is all about.

It is not so much everything belongs to everyone, instead the means of production are in the hands of the people so everyone can have their fair share. The reason fake communist systems like your talking about didn't work, is because they didn't lissen to Marx, for communism to work the PEOPLE need 100% of the power.

Read again, carefully. (You should really try to understand what you are talking about, before you criticise something)

I will once again quote Engels:

"The state is, therefore, by no means a power forced on society from without; just as little is it 'the reality of the ethical idea', 'the image and reality of reason', as Hegel maintains. Rather, it is a product of society at a certain stage of development; it is the admission that this society has become entangled in an insoluble contradiction with itself, that it has split into irreconcilable antagonisms which it is powerless to dispel. But in order that these antagonisms, these classes with conflicting economic interests, might not consume themselves and society in fruitless struggle, it became necessary to have a power, seemingly standing above society, that would alleviate the conflict and keep it within the bounds of 'order'; and this power, arisen out of society but placing itself above it, and alienating itself more and more from it, is the state."

"The proletariat seizes from state power and turns the means of production into state property to begin with. But thereby it abolishes itself as the proletariat, abolishes all class distinctions and class antagonisms, and abolishes also the state as state. "

"The first act by which the state really comes forward as the representative of the whole of society — the taking possession of the means of production in the name of society — is also its last independent act as a state. State interference in social relations becomes, in one domain after another, superfluous, and then dies down of itself. The government of persons is replaced by the administration of things, and by the conduct of processes of production. The state is not 'abolished'. It withers away."

The state is controlled by the ruling class. In a socialist revolution, the working class will take control over society, including the state. The state, is by no means a power forced on society from without. The state is a product of class society. We will abolish class, and class society as a whole. The state will become superfluous and unneccesary, and will "wither away".

Who fucking cares what Engels said. Nobody sits around and dreams up political systems which are imagined to be complete disasters, they sit around and dream up utopias. So pointing out that communism is theoretically a utopia doesn't prove anything at all other than your own gullibility.

I am reminded of a muslim woman who said that Afghanistan wasn't a real islamic state because according to islam an islamic is great for women. Well that may be true but it sure is a coincidence that the more theocratic the regime the more crap things are for women. Similarly Marx said this and Engels said that and who fucking cares because when people like Communism take charge of a country things always seem to go mysteriously wrong and we end up with Cuba, China, the USSR, North Korea or any number of other catastrophes.

The rulers of communist states in eastern europe knew what marx and engels and every other communist moron said. they knew their countries were not communist. but they were communists who wanted to achieve communism. and in doing so they enslaved their citizens, destroyed their economies, and created misery.

Who here is going to argue that Hitler misinterpreted fascism and if fascism was done properly it would have been great? Nobody, but people can come in and apologise for the world's most murderous political system and this is supposed to be acceptable?

Communism and Psy Fox are no better than neo nazis, their only defence is total naivete.

How do you think it is going to happen? By every means neccesary.

It could take the Salvador Allende model, or it could take a revolutionary way. We don't like violence, but we like oppression even less.

Engels is a very important contributor in Marxism, and he explained it perfectly.

I know several American hardline conservatives who know what Marx and Engels said. They were not following Marx and Engels, period.

You still haven't figured out what Communism is. I try to be patient.

What is Communism? A Brief Definition June 19, 2003 by RedStar2000

Communism is a hypothetical social order in which there are no classes and consequently no state as an organ of class rule.

It is postulated that such a society will have little in the way of public authorities or "government" and that whatever is found to be useful will be "ultra-democratic" and rely heavily on internet referendums (direct democracy). These public authorities will almost exclusively be concerned with the large-scale co-ordination of production and distribution of goods and services, and most of their "decisions" are likely to be suggestive rather than compulsive.

There will be no formal "nation states" in a communist world, though many of the names may persist as geographic designations.

There will be no production of "commodities" -- goods and services produced for sale -- instead goods and services will be produced for use -- either by the producers themselves or freely given to those who will make good use of them.

There will be no "currency" as such; no money...though old currency units may be used for record-keeping purposes, they will have no independent utility.

Individual compensation will vary little, and that according to "need"...the ability to actually use what is appropriated from the public total.

People will have the freedom to gravitate to the "work" that they find most intrinsically rewarding for its own sake. But there will be considerable informal pressure to "work" at something useful. The stereotypical "lazy bum" will be an object of scorn and/or pity. Work that is so "bad" that no one wishes to do it will either be automated, shared out in some collective fashion so that no one has to do very much of it, or simply dispensed with altogether.

The social life of a communist society will be extraordinally libertarian; very few of the taboos and and even fewer of the regulations that presently exist will still survive. Religion, if it survives at all, will be in the nature of a hobby, without the power to influence people's lives in any significant way.

Prestige in a communist society will come from competence and reliability...the highest respect will go to those who've demonstrated their ability to perform especially useful work that many will want to emulate.

The most utterly detested crime in communist society will be the attempt to "hire" wage-labor for the purpose of producing a "commodity". This will be regarded in the same way that we currently regard human sacrifice or chattel slavery...as an unspeakable horror and an attempt to "bring back" an old and disgustingly inhumane social order, namely capitalism.

Thus, the hypothetical features of a communist society, as extrapolated from the ideas of Marx and Engels.

Since such a social order has never existed for any significant period of time, we presently have no way of "knowing" if it will actually "work". More importantly, it is really unknown what kinds of things must be done and must be avoided to successfully manage the transition from capitalism to communism...although there are many theories about this. It seems likely that there will be several centuries of "trial and error" before the human species manages this transition successfully.

Cuba is a very progressive country, who has done a lot of great things. Cuba is not communist, however. Cuba is socialist.

I'm not a fan of the Soviet Union, but the USSR had the fastest growth in history. That aint good enough for you? The USSR was not communist either. Read the definition above.

    Off to the gulag then?

I've explained to you a million times that I am well aware that communism is a theoretical concept and that no communist states exist or have ever existed.

This is the standard lie which you and every other communist repeat constantly. Listen very carefully because this is the last time I am going to tell you.

I see no meaningful distinction. When communists try to create communism, the odds are the country will end up in total slavery, oppression, and economic ruin, and there is also a good chance that the death toll will be in the millions. So the fact that you keep pointing out that the USSR is not communist is a pointless and deliberately evasive argument for which I have no patience. My point is not what theoretical communism is about, it is about what communists, like you, have done in this world. What they have done is carry out the largest mass murders in history. Communism is by far the most murderous, destructive ideology ever invented. Communists deserve no more respect than neo nazis.

So stop posting your definition of communism which absolutely nobody gives a shit about. The problem is not that we DON'T understand communism, it is that we DO - which is why no matter how many times you post that garbage we are still left wondering why you idolise mass murderers.
Fastest growth measured by who? Communist quota counters? And if it was so fast, why was it still poor? What sort of system needs to murder 20 million of its own citizens to achieve industrial growth?

The real rags to riches stories are Taiwan and South Korea and other places in Asia, or post war Germany and Japan. These countries rose from nothing, or ruins, to prosperity without murdering their own citizens by the millions.

So its time YOU stayed on topic. The topic is that communism is a disease. What is it about tens of millions of corpses in the name of communism that makes you so proud?

By that saying (total slavery), you have just showed us that you have no idea of what marxism is.

Russia is capitalist, not socialist or communist. Before, people had free healthcare, education, music lessons were free, houses were free, I've also heard from a Russian friend of mine that cars were also free. Books were very cheap beacuse it only costed the price for producing the book. Stuff like tickets to the theathre of opera was really cheap.

Now, WW2 veterans are thrown out on the streets from their houses because they can't pay the rent. WW2 veterans are thrown out in the blistering cold, and they freeze to death, and kids are sniffing glue. 75 percent of Russians say they had a better time in the Soviet-era.

Yes, by all means, let's forget about what communism really is, beacuse that is so pointless. There is little point in talking further to you, because you would rather trust your ignorance than to rely on facts, logic and 'reason'.

Instead you resort to immaturity and name calling.

I am going to stop answering your posts, until you start acting more mature.

Way to put Hitler in his place, saying that Ernesto "Che" Guevara and Dr. Norman Bethune that saved countless lives are more evil then Hitler's genocide, and of course Huey Newton is a evil heartless monster for feeding poor black kids with the Black Panthers Kids Breakfast Program.

Pol Pot was supported by the United States, he was anti-maoist, and an ultranationalist.

is communism the ultimate bane of freedom everywhere? NO
is communism the work of some immaginary devil? NO
is communism the last best hope of humanity? still no
    then what is communism?

along with capitolism, just another damd idiology.

can replacing either with the other make this world a better place? unlikely.
can not putting any idiology ahead of the kind of world we all have to live in do so?
    nothing else can.

    No it doesn't, stupid.

  20. Why not?

Is it a coincidence that the only political ideas that don't fall under rat's condemnation or conspiracy theorising are right wing libertarian ones?

Anyway...the guy seems to get confused between fascism and socialism which are obviously stanch opposites, Are the powerful mulitnational corporations going to one day consolidate their land into a giant communist machine ruled by gay satanists? Doesn't make sense to me.
