ok, i thought it being a pg-13 film would make it suck... i was wrong. good actors all around(and yes im including diesel lol), shit loads of action and amazing effects. the ending suprised me though but i wont give it away.
I've seen it three times. That sounds like a little much, probably, but I had good reason. Keep in mind I saw Pitch Black and was not nearly as fond of it as I was of Chronicles. There was major character development, and it was done realistically. No one became a completely different person. The universe was drastically expanded, allowing you to glimpse the external political forces, and how they pull on the individuals, very few of whom actually care what happens to everyone else. In Pitch Black, everyone was focused on surviving, but in Chronicles, it's a on a much larger scale. I've also seen several of the behind the scenes clips posted on the website, and some of the interviews. I was extremely impressed with the scale of the movie, and how excited everyone seemed to be about it. The cast and crew really put so much effort into it that I only gained more respect for the movie, and those who worked on it. I was thinking of writing a fanfic. That's normally something I wouldn't do, but I figure this way it might be a good guess as to what I think could happen, as well as a bit of what I personally would like to see. At the same time, I might just forget about it and see what comes. They're planning on doing one or two more I think. It'll be interesting to see where it goes after the way it ended. I don't think I'll be disappointed, and I am very picky about my movies. And originally I think it was rated R, but they cut some stuff to get the rating lowered. We may have to wait for a director's cut to find out. Do you think their will be a director's cut?
