my mom was askin me what druids were, and I explained to her that they were pagan people in great britain, way before the time of christ, who probably erected stonehenge, and she didnt know what stonehenge was....... never heard of it before. I tried to explain it and everything, and still no clue. I asked my dad if he had heard of it, because I was shocked my mom hadnt, and he never heard of stonehenge either. what the?? I thought everyone heard of stonehenge at one time or another?

does anyone here not know what stonehenge is?

uhh hippylove...... the heads are on easter island. stonehenge is the large stone slabs erected in a circle..... on salisbury plain, england.

my parents are well learned. my mom is a elementary school teacher. my dad is into history and politics and sports.... I was just shocked they never heard of stonehenge. I would go as far as sayin my dad is smarter than I am. he could tell you the starting lineup of the 1968 st louis cardinals. and tell you the democratic candidates for president and vicepresident in 1972. I mean , he is a walking encyclopedia when it comes to that stuff.

and this is spinal tap, ha!! that would really confuse them. lol.

I love your avator cerridwen! And yeah its really bizzare but sometimes people just for some reason or another don't know about really obvious things! It took me until 2 years ago to realise '24/7' meant 24 hrs a day 7 days a week. :p My cousin had never heard of the Bermuda triangle until a few years ago.
