i got a big Aqurium with a fiberglass cutout that fits over the top with a grow light on it is that an ok setup
Far to shallow,there is a minimum highth needed to successfully grow marijuana and no aquarium will fill this need.
AND No drainage. I think people who mention aquarium grows have never seen a marijuana plant, not even in pictures. They certainly don't know shit about growing.
No disrepect intended but, I've used a 10" deep RubberMaid clothing storage container, after suitable mods for flood & drain, for my last two grows and it seemed to work fine. While I'm not near;y as knowledgeable as you folks here, I would think that an Aquarium might not bee so bad. I mean, as a grow tub. The light would have to be detached but other than that, it sounds doable. Am I doing something wrong?

You answered the question already,by detaching the top aquarium top and using the aquarium as a container its possible but not when you use the top as he stated with a light and after adding a medium of usable depth there would not be enough grow space period.I guess I should further explain myself better in the future so the obvious is there to be seen by all.
