Come on

I'm not just telling one person. I mean, people come to the religious forums looking for a fight. Saying "fuck christianity" or "your all a bunch of sinners, and i hope you burn in hell". Lol, i'm just tired of it. Theres a difference between respecting someones religion, and just discussing. And then flat out arguing.

 

Discussions often turn into debates... it is difficult to discuss religion without a debate.

 

But don't you think most middle age Americans are aware Cristianity exists?
I'm guessing nearly everybody in the United States is aware of the theory of God.
So I don't know if knocking on citizens doors at 7:00 in the morning telling people about a religion they already are aware of is going to "save" that many folks from eternal damnation.

If a muslim came to your door preaching about Muhammad and the Qur'an, and how you needed to be "saved" before the day of reckoning with Allah would you convert to Islam at 7:00 in the morning on the spot?

Good post. Case in point: Me. I'm a white middle-aged anglo-saxon american-born Christian-raised male...and some people still act as though I've never heard of Jesus.

 

Yeah, those are 2 very good points. And as far as discussions turning into debates, even that is ok. But when people resort to telling the others that there phycotic, or they can fuck off, it just goes too far.
