Power concedes nothing without a demand. Nothing is ever as it seems. What looks bad today can be a blessing tommorow. Challenges come so we can grow and be prepared for things we are not equipped to handle now. We Should face our challenges with faith,be prepared to learn,be willing to make changes, and if neccessary, to let go, We should always be demanding for our own power.
Hi Therose a thought. To stretch the cocoon for just power, will show us that until we create the intent for that which we desire, we will often miss the evidence we seek for. Just laws of compensation ask us to be aware that what give, we get. In other words magic is married to the imagination, and power is married to vulnerability in such a way that to use either without balance, focus, and compassion will render the healing, and or acts of magic as froth, and folly, and or null, and void. Shamans seek power, and call these powers, " little powers." Medicine men seek healing, and thus hold powers shamans only dream of. So to demand powers for powers sake, will in the end show us we have lost far more than we gained along the way. To seek growing wholeness, and what being true to the path, and higher self is, we will find until we become one with all, we will be less than we demanded. Thus the frustration of many, who get lost on a journey where they feel they do not measure up to the expectations, and demands. Is there not a more balanced way where the purity of a higher path of love would develope the strength, and natures of each as we add to the whole.
