Hello all you clean hippees and non hippees, too. I'm Mike from Ohio. I'm a grad student and soon-to-be English teacher. Big into music, hockey, disc-golf, politics, etc. I'm very political. Voted for Nader last time, but I won't make that mistake again. The stakes are too high this time. I believe that our system is fundamentally corrupt and I will have no faith in it whatsoever until a woman or a non-white is elected President. But in the meantime, we need to get this asshole out before he starts WW3. So yeah, I'm a little opinionated. I'd love to hear from some political thinkers out there. Peace,
Hey, thanks for the reply on my post. It helped alot. You do sound very interesting. We share some similar beliefs. Haha for a minute there, i thought you said disco-golf. (oh, the plans I have for the future) peace.love.pushing forward welcome (yet again) nice to have digitally met you. -Charlene
I'd vote a hundred times but they only let you vote once. And I could care less about Kerry. I don't love him, but I don't hate him either. All I care is that we get jerky-boy out of there!
you're right about bush and Kerry, and also, I love the quote from Ben Franklin in your sig, I've been looking all over for the exact wording!
yea i agree to i think that bush is a idiot and needs to get out of the white house before he gets all the kids in this country killed on his crusade for watever it is he wants to find and i also think that kerry is i mean how else do you say it the lesser of two evils because i dont trust our governent but anybody is better than whos there
History be our guide; Democrats start more wars than Republicans. Bush isn't bad, hes made the world a better place. He called france out on thier anti-American attitude (GO LANCE), stomped Hussiens ass for killing his own people, and gave rights back to women in Afganistan. Let me guess, you think he's a moron also?
Thats cool, I go to maybe 6 or 7 Jackets games per year, although that number may decrease if they don't show at least the slightest indication of improvement. I play in a band called the Guinea Worms too, playing tonight at Skully's actually.
It was really frustrating to see them trade Sanderson away. He was definitely their leader. Nash and Zherdev are so incredible! They really wouldn't have to do much to be contenders. I thinki they already have a top notch tender. In fact, I think Denis is one of the most underrated goalies in the league. What they need to do is beef up their defensive core a bit and add a few veteran leaders. I'm a bit of a hockey nut. We've got great CCHA hockey here too. I've actually gone up there to see MU play OSU. Almost got my ass kicked once. They were both in the NCAA tourney this year. We lost to the eventual champs. As I recall, I think the Bucks lost to UW. That's cool you've got a band. I'll have to come check you out some time. What type of stuff do you play? and what do you play?
They got Sanderson back already......I wish they would lose Lachance and Richardson but nobody would want them. I was at the OSU- Michigan hockey game the year before last. I play guitar and we play kind of distict garage/indie/punk along the lines of the Fall or I'm not sure, we usually get labeled as the most "unique" band in town. Here is a beer ad with us in it from the Columbus Alive
If I was selling food or drink, I don't think I'd use anyone with the word "worms" in their name to endorse my product.
Yea, well it IS Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer, and not Heineken that is being advertised! I agree it would be bad for all foods.
