We call ourselves Animalia Rescue, and we rescue what animals we can. Currently, we have two dogs available for adoption. Coming soon, two rescued kitties, and another dog - will post their pictures when they become available. These dogs have all vaccinations, are fixed, and microchipped. They just need a home - could it be yours? Cleo: Frog:
These are so beautiful, Frog reminds me of one of my dogs - Midge. She was 3 years old when she came to us as a rescue dog. Her previous owner had been so cruel to her, starving, beating her and locking her away and then making her eat her faeces. Took a long time to gain her trust, but for the whole of her life she had an aversion to feet, person who rescued her said it was because of the kickings she'd been given. Anyway, she spent 11 years with us, had to have her put to sleep because or lymph cancer. Vet kept her going and the last seven weeks of her life were brilliant, she seemed so young again, wouldn't have thought she was ill. Good luck to these three, I hope they all get the loving homes they deserve.
We have a return. This is the dog I mentioned earlier. He saved his family from a housefire, and they saved him from death after he was hit by a car. But they gave him back to us because he barks. We're going to evaluate his personality and find out what type of situation he'd be happy in and then try to find him another family! Heres Max:
poor baby. i hate to see when a dog finally gets a home and then they are just given back like a product with a defect. when i adopted lily she seemed super calm and shy and the lady at the shelter said she was very laid back and quiet all the time. well after about a week with us and finally settling in, her real personality started to come out and she is just a terror! she barks all the time, chews EVERYTHING, always getting into things and peeing everywhere.....no manners at all. if she wants your food she will actually try to steal it right out of your mouth! but im glad im got her because i have a feeling someone else might have adopted her for her cuteness and then when they realized how she was they would have given her back.......or she would have had to endure lots of punishments. some things we are trying to work on.....like her fondness for humping the cat needs to stop. but other than that she is allowed to just be herself. max is adorable and i really wish i had room......
Actually, they decided to keep Max. Which is good, because he loved them, and apparently, after one night without him, they called back asking if they could have him back because they missed him so much. So, Max still has his home and family! We made a dogster page for him anyway: http://www.dogster.com/?276848
Awww. I wish we could have more dogs. I already have my own Moxie (though a different breed). She's too much of a handful to have another dog, not to mention she doesn't play well with others.
