ok, i'm just wondering if anyone here has had a conversation with an animal. i want to try.i think i have before..with my dog..i personally believe that she's here to help me along with my life..and become more tuned to nature. i also think there was a spider named pin. but i'm not sure..if it's so he was talking about how humans should become more aware because animals can help. he was saying how every animal has a certain quality with it. and that animals like you to face your fears. they know. and that's about it. i just wanted to know peoples veiw on animal comunication etc. well thanks!

I used to talk to my horses all the time back when I rode. I found it soothing...I'm sure they found it annoying.

as for animal communications, the native americans have a cool thing concerning horses.

A rider will slowly breathe into the horses nostrils and the horse responds..all while keeping eye contact. they say that when horse and rider do this, their souls become one and they make a better pair.

I talk to my cat too and she meows back...she probably thinks I a bit fruity.

Sometimes Branwen and I sit quietly and we seem to communicate through telepathy of sorts.

I used to do that with my previous animal companions but they never really talked back, but then maybe fish and hamsters aren't on the right wavelength or something.

weird...does this stuff really happen? I love animals, but I've never felt like I was communicating with them...

I've felt deep connectionswith the animals that I have had, but I'm not so sure it was communicating. Dogs always seem to know has someone feels though. I think I've also read before that dogs don't have the ability to mask emotions and that is why they are good at judging people.

my friend was telling me that his brother went to a seminar or something about talking to animals, he said that his brother told him he had a conversation with a cat and the cat told him something and later when he asked the owner it was true! as fake as it may seem, i trust my friend and if anyone is really interested his brother is coming here in like a week and i could get info on it

    peace and love

I dont feel there is any barrier between me and any of my animals. I communicate with all of them. A balance between words and I guess a telepathy of sorts. It comes natural to me. I think it's natural for everyone.....

I've heard that dogs (this may apply for other pets too) who are talked to by their human friends more often lead happier lives and are more responsive and friendly toward others. I talked to my first dog Mo a lot about everything, even when we played, and it was so funny when he was barking loudly once and I opened the door and it was like "WOOFWOOFWOOF!!!!!"
    "Mosely, be quiet!"
    "woof"

Now we have a new puppy and she's only been with us for about two months, so she has yet to warm up to us, but we do talk to her and love her every day as much as we can.

I've been looking for a spirit guide in meditation and found I had a falcon for an animal guide. I should talk to it more often as I don't even know if it has a name or what gender it chooses to be. I just know it's gray with yellow eyes.

I communicate with all living beings, even plants, so I don't consider myself crazy for talking to a dog, bird, ant, tree, or rock.

I have a friend who claims that he communicates with a spider that has a web in his car. He won't let his wife kill it.

    That's kind of cool. :)

My brother not only communicates with our rabbit, he communicates for her.
He asks her rhetorical questions such as, 'you like apple don't you Branwen?' Then puts on this little voice and replies 'Yes I do'.

It's sort of cute, but I'm fearing for his sanity (says the girl named after a herb  ) and I'm sure if Branwen could talk she wouldn't sound like that anyway.
