Prayer is the more common form of worship in Christianity. When I was a Christian, prayer always kinda stressed me out, I always felt like I wasn't doing it right and the prayer I was giving had no meaning; that when I said "forgive me of my sins" I didn't really mean it. Prayer wasn't right for me. Nowadays, I have begun to meditate and I really feel it really helps me in my spiritual, actually eve daily, life. So I ask you a question: can meditation be used as a substitute for prayer for a Christian who doesn't feel prayer is helping them?

In my non-christian view, yes. God doesn't want to hear chanted prayers that you say robotically. If meditation gets you closer to God, it's the right thing to do. How can it not be? Getting closer to God is the whole point.
