Hey everyone, This fall I will be graduating college, getting married as well as starting my career in finance. That being said, I want to go somewhere this summer and do all the things I was too weary/unable to do in the states. I smoked plenty of pot but I've always wanted to experince a psychedelic of some sort. LSD, DMT, Peyote...whatever. Now, I know these are illegal in Amsterdam but it seems if I was ever gonna do it and not get in a ton of trouble if caught it would be here. Am I wrong? Are these drugs legal in other countries/cities that I should go to instead? To clarify, I'm not talkig about heroin, meth, PCP or any of that crazy stuff. I never want to miss with that. Thanks!

Well if you want to try Peyote or more specificlly Mescaline in the States there are legal sources for mescaline instead of peyote, San Pedro Cactus is legal in the sates and is buyable online, buy some of that,read on how to prepare it and enjoy,assuming you live in the states
I'd go to one of the Smart Shops and talk with the people there. They know their stuff (at least more than you and I and most of the people who will respond to you here) and will try to be helpful to you.
why would you want to alter you conscious awareness or trip out your perception of reality RIGHT BEFORE your major thrust into it? Reality is more fun to deny or alter when you are a young one without responsibilities. Have fun if you so choose to but if you have NEVER done that kind of stuff yet and your at this point of life, I think you'd be better off not trying it at all. Not saying its gonna kill ya, just saying that its not the most casual thing to experiment with especially for a one time kill the curiousity kind of motivation.....

was it ur first AND ONLY time though mikey? i'm guessing it wasn't and you were more prepared for the effects and after effects..... i've certainly have and ALWAYS ENJOYED the experience ESPECIALLY in A-dam but the original poster seemed to be in an entirely different situation. I've got a handfull of personal experiences in amsterdam myself and all were great. Wasn't implying that its not a fun thing to do or a fun place to do it in so sorry for coming off as a being a bummer.... I really haven't had much luck expressing myself on this board as of recent, perhaps I should put more time and effort into my choice of words? p.s. don't forget a-dam has peyote buttons!!!! Something I learned in 98' on my first trip p.p.s. after rereading the original post it should be pointed out that the peyote and mushrooms ARE LEGAL or decriminalized in Amsterdam so if thats your main concern, then this is the perfect place for you to experiment!
