Old Crow Medicine Show

I've liked these for a while now, finally got the chance to see them play about a month ago. they put on a great friggin show. great cover of cc rider too.

 

i saw em at wakarusa fest in lawrence, KS. Not too bad of a show i must admit.

ohhh gosh I was just about to post about them. They are the greatest, I would LOVE to see them play holy crap.

My daughter loves that song-she calls it "rocka mama".

I drove through a torrential downpour to see them-missed the first set, but it was awesome nonetheless...

 

OCMS is a great band. I love Wagonwheel, CC Rider, Big Time In the Jungle. Hey at Wakarusa, I heard the cops were in the woods taking pictures of people and then arresting them during the day for drugs, do you know anything about it, jakobfredjo?

 

awesome band....back in 98 or 99 they were playing the sidewalks here in boone on weekends...supposedly, after seeing them one saturday, Doc Watson's daughter went home and told her dad about this great band...apparently he dug it and helped to get them on their way

 

Yes, OCMS is great indeed. I also heard of them at Wakarusa last year. Good exposure for them that's for sure. They have another album coming out. It may already be out. I would really like to see them live again sometime soon.

BTW, their new album "BIg Iron World" is excellent

 

I saw them play, finally, in columbus ohio about 5 or 6 months ago. It was amazing...odd crowd though, I wasn't expecting it.

And as far as wakarusa goes, I heard they had six surveillance cameras, running CCTV.

I heard from a friend that the cops used night-vision and thermal imaging at the actual camp sites at Waka to bust kids smoking.

Yonder Mountain puts on a great show as well.
