They are on hiatus, Jimmy Haha is living back in Annapolis and he and (Ethan? Damn I can never remember that kid's name) Cosgrove of Gepetto are writing songs. Jimmy says "Hi" to all you JCS fans out there.
that reminds me, I let my friend borrow my CD an he still hasn't given it back yet......I'm so tired of being the only one who has cool CD's
that's why I make a copy of each cd I buy. then I put the original back in the case never to be touched.
So you can now simply admit that you have no varying taste in music. Jimmy's Chicken Shack was a little known Baltimore band who had medium success nationwide. Jimmy Haha is probably one of the coolest guys I've ever met and I work occasionally with Cosgrove's father. Look it up.
i had one of their albums in high school but i lost it or never got it back or something. saw them a couple of times at the chamelion in lancaster... they used to have shows around here all the time.
i do have a rather diverse taste in music thank you. i just wait for bands and artists to be brought to my attention as opposed to seeking out different genres and such.
just found a jimmys chicken shack cd! i thought i lost that long ago.... "pushing the salmanilla envelope" i just put six cds into my stereo and put them on shuffle (love doing that).... jimmys chicken shack, matisyahu live at stubbs, fresh cream, radiohead hail to the thief, kanye west college drop out, and fiona apple extraordinary machine
huh? I didn't give it away, I just let him borrow it, cuz I haven't listened to it for awhile, its been out of my rotation. But seeing this thread make me remember it and now I want to hear it.
yah... i havent heard that cd in five years. still not that good but i didnt say it was that bad either.
wow...it's been a good while since I even thought about that band...but "Do Right" was definitely great...
