ok, well im getting 4 nauticle stars tattoo'd on the inside of my left wrist...in black, and flesh. their gonna go from2 inches in width, and the last one is gonna be about 1cm...the meaning is one for the 4 people i love most in this world, and when, hopefully not soon, they pass im gonna fill in the flesh with thier birth stone color, jan, feb, march, and may months......the guy who will be doing it is drawing it out currently, i was hoping to get it done today, but with the size decreasing, he wants em to be decreasing in equal incraments(sp?), so some time hopefully b4 sunday.. lemme know what u guys think (ps, my tounge ring is healing awsomely) stonr
that sounds awesome! I have a question though... do the stars mean anything? I feel like I've seen them on quite a few people, but is there any significance? I didn't know if it was just a cool design or if it had a meaning.
they are a sign of direction and understanding, but different people interpret them differently, and it also has to do with context. i have 3 on my back, and that is the meaning behind mine, but it seems the ones for this post are just the design and the meaning is their own.
its a mix, it means a sign of direction and understanding, awell as one representing each of my closest and most loved family memebers, and when they die(hopefully not now) the flesh will be filled in the their birthstone colors.
