51% of the country puts security before liberty. This doesn't matter to them. Moreover when America's number one source of news is Fox and Bill oreilly, you end up with a lot of thoughtless and unthinking sheep. Why think, when fox forms your opinions for you... The other 49% who has opposed the Iraq war and mostly everything bush does has no voice. Rational America is powerless. American democracy is useless because the uneducated, uninformed, ignorant, naive, and mislead outnumber the rational ones. The very things conservatism flourish on.
Persecution of Hippies does pre-date The Bush administration. Bush did not make marajuana illegal. When Democrats were in The White House for 8 years, did they launch any initiatives for decriminilization? Legalizing all drugs will eventually happen, once the state realize it is for the best interests of all involved. Proposition for a new amendment -Any crime deemed victimless (done to oneself and not others) is not a crime, but a right for a citizen to commit. This includes drugs, prostitution, suicide, gambling, and so on. -The selling of anything involved or assisstance in any way of a victimless crime is now deemed legal and the right of every America. The goverment is free to tax and regulate this as it sees fit.
Is a protest against using Tax garnered from Drugs that have the potential to kill in a heart beat valid ?. Thats the only arguement i can't seem to find a answer too.. the rest i can but this one ??????
