As a fan of the books,I thought the movies were pretty good.

But were there any parts of the books that you wish were included?

me personally, I missed Peeves the Poltergeist..his hijinx were too funny.

the third movie is the best i've seen. the fact that gary oldman was in it made it 100x better (i'm a bit obsessed). but they did miss quite a bit out of the film and mixed events around. they cut a lot of info out. still great though.

the books are some of my all time favourites.

I loved the 3rd movie, it was the best. The first two were good, but just a bit too close to the books, of course a shorter version with details missing, but still... too close.

I think that it's good that the 3rd movie was really different from the book... well, not THAT different, the story was still the same and included the most important facts and details, but, what would be the point of even reading the books if the movies were just their copy?

if i could spell the word that sounds like tooshay i would write it, but i can't, so that's a very good point. i didn't think of it like that before. i want the sixth book to come out now though. i'm having withdrawal symptoms...

My only complaints on the 3rd movie was that we never found out who wrote the map, and how Lupin knew it was a map. I went with a group of friends we us Potterheads had to explain to the non-readers what really happened.
