So I finally got around to scanning all the brown pages of Ram Dass - Be Here Now for ya all.. So far everyone I know who's read the book while tripping (for me it was LSD, i'd recommend LSD over anything but maybe DOC or something else deep would be equivalent, mushrooms worked on two friends..). Thanks for the download! This book looks wicked. I need to find my own copy of it, while people may complain that illegal downloads hurt sales, after seeing the PDF I just really want a copy to hold in my hands!
I think ill discover more stuff in my almost inhability to read than in the book...do you see what I mean, finding out more stuff in the inhability? pretty fucked It will probably look a bit meaningless..
If I were REALLY Trippin', I probably couldn't read that! One time I powdered 300 (or more) HEAVENLY BLUE Morning Glory Seeds, added to a glass of water and drank quickly. When I started to trip, I picked up a newspaper and I couldn't read it, because the printed words looked like they were written in an alien language, that I coudn't understand! On 4-way AMBER WINDOWPANE, I was in an abstract "hyper-space" and words were primitive manifestations of expressing the mind. My mind was expanded across the universe and I experienced things that cannot be put into words! I was way beyond words. The mind operates in pictures and images, although we "think" in words, just like a computer operates in binary code, yet we see words and pictures from this. On high doses of maryjane, hash or hash oil, I may not be able to read it too well, although on lower doses, I may be able to read it. I'd rather read it in a more "normal" state of consciousness and maybe I'll trip off of the words themselves, or at least, get a "flashback" buzz. Read TRIPPIN' when yer this? ENLIGHTENMENT THROUGH THE WRITTEN WORD, PICTURES, OR DIAGRAMS.
thing with that book is once ya get to the brown pages,,, alot of it is not reading,,,, trippin or not,,,, most of it has very little writing in it and is an easy couple minute glance,,, the scribbles scrawls draings etc etc is what gets the mind actually goin,,, definitely an interestin book n i throw it at all the folks when they are trapped "inside" by rain ....
I've read that book, and it was the best one I've ever seen. I need to buy it because I don't remember all that I should. I borrowed it from a friend. I've always wanted to read it tripping, especially the middle section. The first part telling his life story was very interesting too.
