creative baby shower gift ideas

hey, my friend is having a baby shower on Sunday, and i'm having trouble deciding what do get her. she's 9 months pregnant right now, and is having a baby girl named Jamie-Leigh. i'm thinking of making and initialling some receiving blankets or something, and i have a cute outfit, but she told me she has a lot of clothes.
any creative ideas would be appriciated! thanks!

 

Cloth diapers made into a big basket of cloth diaper flowers...

I've seen that done before...it's cute.

 

I gave a friend of mine who just gave birth things to decorate the baby's room with, some new agey stuff like a feng shui crystal for the window (makes rainbows everywhere), a gift cert. to the grocery store for baby food (trust me she'll need it), or baby einstein tapes.

 

you really want to know whats the best idea that i can think of? i think you should go and make her a diaper cake there. they are the best presents. do a search and you can easily get pics and just do them urself. i fergot the website but i did a simple search on google and found out how to do them myself. perfect present though bc u ALWAYS need diapers LOL and puttin a few other things in the diaper cake is perfect. i really wish i had the pics of the diaper cake i made my friend bc i turned out great. i will try and get them and then post them on here. good luck
