i use the peppermint bar soap right now to wash my dreads, but I have a bottle of the liquid version also how is it, and i here you're supposed to dilute it? whats the mixture of soap:water?
I never diluted it, but I also used it as a body wash. Here's a link to their site with info on it: http://www.drbronner.com/drb_faq_6.html If I read it right, you don't need to dilute it. Rinse your hair with a dilute vineagar solution to get out any residue. Hope this helps! Peace & Love
i dliute it as i use it. after i put some in my hand, i let water drip onto it from my elbow (when you´re in the shower, this works. trust me) and use it from there. it helps it to make a lather and isnt so concentrated (obviously)
What I usually do is use a bit of each liquid dread soap and liquid Bronners. I go sort of heavy on it since I don't wash my hair every day. It lathers up pretty nice once you get it at the roots and rub fast.
hmmmm on the bottle it says to "Dilute! Dilute! Wet with water!" if it gets in your eyes. i love the stuff. if you read the bottle you'll probably laugh. its pretty funny and had me and my man and friends crackin up. k i just got the bottle and here's what it says : "Warning! Keep out of eyes!Wash out with water! Don't drink soap! Dilute! Dilute! or Wet skin Well! OK!"
I had this friend in oregon - a unitarian minister, who spent his younger days (pre-seminary) in a buddhist monestary. One time he told me his deep dark secret - he got much of his early religious/philisophical education off dr. bronner's bottles. still cracks me up! by the way, I love the stuff. tea tree for me. nothing better for washing my dreadies with.
I love Dr B and we affectionately refer to the soap as "cult soap" because it is some crazy babble. "Work hard like Mark Spitz!" is oneof my favourite phrases on there. They smell so good! (except tea tree. I hate everything tea tree scented)
I use Dr B its great. I dilute it after its on my head. Add soap, splash water, lather and rinse. Ive used the almond one and the péppermint one but my personal fave is the teatree one-it helps with me dandruff.
