I'm in day 32 of 12 & 12 and have aquestion about the fan leaves on the developing buds.
the girls are getting pretty frosty and I was wonderin if selective trimming of the fans on the upper buds to facilitate light penetration to those further down the foodchain would help or hinder the final tonnage?
This is only my second grow to flowering and I don't want to f* ck this one up. (We don't speak of the first......arghhh!)

    Any help would be appreciated.

Never remove a leaf if healthy.Leaves facilitate the production of the flowers when in flower. You can physically move a leaf out of the way if possible to open up more light but never remove. In the future remove some of the lower branches which will allow the plant to focus most of its energy on the upper.

You can re-arrange fan leaves with twist-ties/paper clips.

So that's what it means when you are advised to ' clean out the undergrowth!
    Thanks folks.
