implications ? trade imbalance ? price of oil ? investment towards alternates ? consumerism ? industry booms ? which ? affects to the eurozone, usa ? currency-peg/games by the chinese ? devaluation of major currencies ? rest of the emerging markets ? world ? politics ? anythin else i've missed ? ....so what's YOUR take on this ?
Right now we have record reserves of oil. Corresponding to this is the fact that major oil companies like Shell and Exxon are raking in record profits. Contrary to the propaganda, we are swimming in oil and we have all the oil we're going to need for many, many years. There are huge oil reserves both here and abroad that to this point have been untapped. I am not saying that I support oil consumption, because I don't. I believe there are alternative forms of environment-friendly free energy technology, but it is being suppressed and kept from the public, partly because of the monopoly of the oil companies. All I am trying to do here debunk that myth that we are running out of oil, which people widely accept as fact without doing any research for themselves. I have read BOTH sides of the peak oil argument, and I support the theory that oil is an abiotic substance that is generated deep within the earth... not from decayed plants and dinosaur fossils. It makes sense that the environmental movement is spreading lots of false information regarding peak oil, because the oil companies are literally in bed with the environmental movement. Most people who supposedly support the environment don't even take the time to research who heads many of these so-called environmental organizations which do nothing to help the environment. They are simply corporate fronts. This doesn't mean the media isn't going to harp on the fact that China controls 25% of the oil supply, which should be expected anyway considering China's rapid growth. This whole thing serves as a way for the globalists to further push their artificial scarcity myth and catapult the disinformation needed to justify further increases in oil prices. As far as China goes, China is growing rapidly in literally all areas of their economy. To focus simply on how much of the oil they control and or/consume pales in comparison to the big picture, which is the fact that China is deliberately being built up by the globalists to be the next superpower of sorts, which I believe one day in the not-so-distant future will see war with the United States.
Can you give the source of your information.. is it controls or consumes ? I thought it was in OPECs hands anyway ? http://www.thedailyjournalonline.com/article.asp?CategoryId=13280&ArticleId=209912 http://today.reuters.com/news/articlenews.aspx?type=reutersEdge&storyid=2006-03-06T103952Z_01_L03736628_RTRUKOC_0_US-ENERGY-OPEC-CRAISER.xml Can you provide some evidence for this .. not disputing any of it.. but it seems a bit far fetched.. again not disputing, just asking.
haha it makes me chuckle, as it seems jus another thing the chinese have on the yanks and arabs. *worlds next super power*
It might be India for all we know... hopefuly it won't turn out to be Cold War II. I reckon we are more communicative than 'back in the day'.. so keep googling ''US china talks'' ''US india talks'' .. All this ' next super power' talk might just be in the imaginations of erm some ??
The first question you need to ask yourself is where do these organizations get their funding from? I can guarantee you they don't hold the global status they do because of relatively meager member contributions. Isn't it ironic that the same globalists and corporations responsible for the destruction of our environment are the ones contributing hordes of money to the environmental movement? I'm sure it's because they feel "guilty." http://www.discoverthenetwork.org/funderprofile.asp?fndid=5322&category=79 http://www.discoverthenetwork.org/groupProfile.asp?grpid=6902 http://www.newswithviews.com/Monteith/stanley1.htm http://www.prouty.org/oil.html http://www.prisonplanet.com/analysis_zastrow_012303_environmental.html http://www.prisonplanet.com/archives/peak_oil/index.htm http://www.infowars.com/articles/nwo/bilderberg_world_in_palm_of_hands.htm http://www.propagandamatrix.com/archiveenvironmentalmovement.html http://www.davidicke.com/icke/articles2002/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=36&Itemid=26 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maurice_Strong http://www.enterstageright.com/archive/articles/1201/1201strong.htm http://www.sovereignty.net/p/sd/strong.html http://news.scotsman.com/index.cfm?id=578462004 http://educate-yourself.org/nwo/nwopopcnsaglobal2000report10mar81.shtml http://www.thenewamerican.com/focus/environment/index.htm
Thankyou for that..very interesting.. I have only scanned those articles briefly [i will read them more intently when i have some time].. At this point i have nodded my head more than shook it.. Not bought into it 100%.. but IT IS VERY interesting.. again thankyou. I think they hold the status they do because of beating the opposition.. They had a coherent and forthright message .. I realise many of those groups and claims seem to be rooted in the post 70s era.. when the evidence for the predictions were supported by incoherent research.. Science and technology has moved on and to a degree [pardon the pun] some of the predictions are unraveling.. some are gaining ground and are better supported [we can't ignore that].. but their is a reluctance to accept if they are wrong and 'move on'.. I believe the UK emits 2% of the worldwide CO2 emissions ??? so anything within the kyoto agreement is within reason.. but horribly out of balance with the greater emerging economies.. it to me is a good morale wake up call.. but pretty worthless as if you accept predictions [i guess you may not] we are pretty much going to be spending more to hold back the enevitable for a few years.. than make any relevant improvements.. The shrieks of disgust as may nations [especialy the US] did not sign 'Kyoto' were 'self indulgent' and close minded to economic realities. I don't see your connection between 'big business' and the enviromental movements... I see them both at 'war' with each other.. IMHO the environmental groups [especialy Greenpeace] hold 'global status ' because they tap into the publics mistrust of anything and everything.. they have a agenda and become almost zealot like in their way of thinking.. forgive my lack of direction..i am still digesting it all..
Russia's sittin' atop some rather vast coal and oil resources, some of the largest in the world. They'll always be there to offset China.
That 'joke' is so old..hahahahaha It would be so sad if that was on DI tombstone... Can you pull up a source that david ike implies that apart from http://books.guardian.co.uk/extracts/story/0,6761,457988,00.html and of course some one is going to think that [knee jerk reaction].. not many people have original thoughts .. you know. <---- see that was not that original was it hahahaha
