Opinions of my tattoo please...

Hi all
I just wanted to get an all-round opinion of my tattoo wot I had done in goa by Michelle Edge back in 1994, my wife keeps taking the micky out of the face in the middle
I like the face, but when you look at it it starts to look out of place, anyway, please don't be shy...

I was also thinking of getting some more, like an armband or something, or even go really mad and have loads... can't decide... I always said I would only ever have one!

i like it a lot. its very tribal looking. i wouldnt add a band to it, i think bands are cheesy. but thats just my $.02

 

Yes I think they are mostly cheezy, some can be quite good, I wouldn't have had a band on the same arm, glad the one I've got looks tribal, just the word I need to hear

Tattoos are cool, but I wouldn't get a band. Anyway, regarding your tattoo, I like it! I think the face in the middle is part of the effect of the tattoo, looking "rough" and tribal.

 

Thank for that, I better not let my wife tell me the face is silly anymore :$

I was worried that it looked a bit like a smiley:

But I find it only looks odd if you start out lookign at the face only, the original version I copied it from had just a white space in the middle, and as I have an injection scar there it would have been the frame for that!

I think I will dump the idea of an armband anyway, go for some emenem type stuff perhaps :&

Seriously though, it is hard to choose what to put with a tribal aztec shield, or sun, or afrcan shield, or what ever it is....

i just didn't like it ... the design... i guess i wouldn't like it for me.

it's alright, the work is good and even, but it's not my style. as for the arm band, i'd say no. too commercial. mabey u could work some of your interests into the next one. e.g. - music, animals, religion, etc.

 

everyone has an armband.


I'm sure you could come up with something creative.

a webdesign tattoo would be ub3rg33k1337. you should get asdf jkl; across your finger tips.

 

you should have a blunt hanging out of its mouth! but dont get an armband...unless you wanna look like a frat boy jock playing football on the beach. but if thats what your going for then do it
