have you ever got home from a long, hard day at work, crawled into bed, turned off the light and drifted into a comfortable numb sleep only to wake up immediately and realize that whole day of backbreaking labour had been a dream? it's bad enough we sell our waking lives for minimum wage, now they get our dreams for free...
I have never had that happen I am a rich bastard and will n ow get the hell out. JK.. heh I'm a working slouch. This is all some kind of nightmare!
i know what you mean, but im a boss being there for 8 years and it took me 8 fucking years to make eight fucking dollars an hour...im listening to bob marley now to calm down
8$ an hour? wtf.. oh well i'm guessing that's in american dollars. but still, i started at 12.50 an hour and all i do is cushy office shit for a construction company.
must be nice, i have a spring/summer deal comin up soon $9.00/hr to walk in the woods i love it my winter job is a love hate relationship...much like the movie "waiting" minus being a waiter and the restaurant atmosphere but many similarities are prevelant...
ah. i think liking what you do is most important. my job is incredibly soul crushing, lots of data processing and filing and generally boring stuff. but i can't just zone out because if i screw something up the company will seriously get fucked over. i would much rather be teaching dance or performing for way less money... but you gotta do what you gotta do.
indoobadibly, march just makes me ready for summer and seeing these skidiots loning killing thier skis and ours on the dirt makes me very angery...oh well, summer beckons...
ah, last night I dreamt that the mall I work in had caught fire, and they had to move the stores around... I tried to get into my store at its new location but my key didn't work anymore.... I had to go in the next day and work with one girl and a new employee who was awful fuck I hate dreaming about work, I don't wanna think about it let alone dream about it
yeah, I guess I can see your perspective working at a rental shop and that the rush can be aggravating - hundreds of impatient folks waiting in line chomping at the bit to get out on the slopes
