^for clarification, those were the son's of Noah.

I don't know if that's actually a biblical idea, though, or whether it was an idea that came later.

    Your such a dork.

There are NOT references to 'races of people' in the Bible in the modern evolutionism sense of the word you and I would be familiar with.
There are lots of references to 'races' but this is more like 'The Egyptians' or The Philistines or whatnot.
Even though the Jews may very well have looked pretty close to them in features, colour etc.

On rare occasion you might find some reference to appearance, for example a beautiful queen being described '..and the darkest of skin..."
Another time a 'race' was described as being "tall with smooth skin."

The concept of 'different races of human being' is a relatively new one and is not acknowledged by Biblical times.

Artistic pictures of Jesus, done by Europeans are not surprisingly and naturally depicting a 'Euro looking Jesus'.
Italian ones showed an Italian Jesus.
    Africans depict Jesus as African-looking.
    WOW!
    These people are 'racists'.
    Idiots.

Kris, just trust me, you are not even near being in a position to do the little 'talk down to me' game.
    Not even close.

Once again, you keep saying 'Races' and 'Evolved'.
You are probably pouring some meaning into those words that Im not going to agree with?

It has always interested me that Noah lands in Turkey (what is now Turkey) which really is about the very centre.
His Three Sons and their Wives set out to repopulate the Earth going North, East and South.
To this day we still see three distinct looks for people going in those directions from that area.
Not making a huge DNA report on it but its just interesting to see that today.

    AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Because, as we all know, being able to identify someone's race at a glance is both important and useful.

    Yeah.

sorry centre of the earth? are you making the assumption that human mapping is exactely how God planned it. The world is not flat, and whereever we choose to have our mapping would make a lot of places centre of the planet. and even if you use our current map, Turkey is not centre, somewhere in Africa is.......

Brothwood, you and me have solved the mystery of the merepeople!

Oh good.. I still the namby-pampy Christians are still here acting stupid and trying to turn everything into a moronic nitpickery.

With all due respect to those who made their way over to the Americas (of which I share a heritage) I would suggest that if you take a look at a world map and roughly look at Eurasia, Africa, Southern Asia then you would pretty much see where Turkey is somewhere there in the centre.
Dont bother being an annoying shithead and trying to make up false arguments about who and what definition of 'centre' is supposed to mean.
Its self explanatory in the context.
    Idiot.

If you did take a look at Turkey and then just make a rough comparison to what is North:
    White peoples.
    What is South.. Black Peoples.
    What is East.. Asian Peoples.

Not surprisingly, you look around that region itself and your certainly have many peoples who dont distinctly fall into any of the three unique 'looks' of humanity.

Interestingly, of Noahs three Sons, Ham is attributed to Africa and the name 'Ham' is said to compare to the word for 'Black' or 'Dark'.
Japeth is said to be a word that itself means 'Fair'.

Here is a kooky site with some take on this:
    http://www.freemaninstitute.com/RTGham.htm

This website made up a colour coded map to show where Genesis puts the Three Patriarchs and the lands they went into.

Red: From Japheth; Blue: from Shem; Yellow: from Ham

Of course, if you were raised with Evolutionism you probably were taught some bullshit that there were three different type of Apes and that the Three different branches of Humanity are 'different types of humans' and all that Racist bullshit Hitler loved so much.
Modern Science doesnt allow that anymore and as we speak the world is being mapped via DNA.
Not surprisingly, its becoming more and more obvious that we all do come from a common family.
You can imagine there has been a lot of centuries gone by but I still think its interesting that to this day we still see three unique physical 'looks' in the same directions the Three Patriarchs went towards and repopulated.
