I'm interested in Burning Man. My "old hippy" friend Patty said I should check out

So I'm interested. Where do I start? I feel like sucha fool because I know nothing of Burning Man, but I was told to check it out cause they said I'd fit there.

Also I was told by another person to check out the rainbow family, they said it would benifit me on my spirtual path (notice i didnt say religious).

Well all the advice and information and tips and all that would be greatly appreciated.

What's up brother....I don't know about any BM stuff in Portland, nor have I ever been to a Burn anywhere. But it seems like it's a pretty cool thing! I want to go check it out sometime.
